Road to the WNBA: Day 196 🏀🏁 🏀

Is it possible for a 29 year old former Division 1 and current overseas pro basketball player to accomplish her childhood dream of playing in the W N B A? I'm Kiki Calloway, and this is the road to the W N B A. Day 196. And it's crazy to say that a year ago I was fuck working a 9 to 5 that I absolutely hated after coming off an injury and working my way to get back to playing at an elite level, although I didn't have a contract yet. And here I am today in a similar position, dealing with a knee injury, still grinding every day because I truly believe I can accomplish my dream of playing in the WNBA. I've had several people ask me what keeps me motivated and what gives me the drive to get up and grind every day. Well, one is because I want to be great and I want to be the best. But I also know that if I give up now, I'm guaranteed nothing. But on the other end, I also know that just because I'm grinding, that doesn't mean that I'm going to accomplish my dream. And honestly, I'm okay with that because I know in the end I will be a much better person and player than when I started. And ultimately, that's what this journey is all about.
