DISCLAIMER- THIS IS MY OPINION. REFER TO YOUR COUNTRY’S EMBASSY FOR OFFICIAL INFORMATION AND YOUR HOTELS AND TRANSPORTATION FOR UPDATES. I tried to be as succinct as possible and cover the main topics in one video. 1. Protests and looting are two different things 2. The violence started before the 17th 3. The looting went on way too long without intervention 4. The next day was “business as usual” in the sense that the tourist stuff was open 5. You can avoid the protests - half the city sat on terraces and sipped wine while this was popping off 6. You don’t need to cancel your trip but you may need to be flexible with your plans 7. Idk I’m not a journalist but I hope this helps a bit #paris #parisprotest #paristravel #parisfrance #parisguide

My first time in Barcelona was awesome mainly due to my cool neighborhood and the apartment swap I did with @Kindred . I recently became a community member with Kindred which allows me to swap apartments around the world. I only had about 3 days total in the city, so I needed to make the most of my time by staying as central as possible but not necessarily in a touristy area. The neighborhood I ended up in reminded me a lot of the 11th arrondissement in Paris, so it felt familiar with a Catalan twist. I made sure no meal was wasted, by stacking reservations from lunch at Fugaz to rooftop drinks at SiSi, tapas at Pepita and brunch at Gringa. I was able to work it all off with a private boxing trainer and a hammam session right before heading back to Paris. All in all, I would give this trip a 10/10 and I'm currently planning my next trip to Barcelona. If you're interested in house swapping in major cities like Barcelona, Paris, New York use comment TRIP below and I'll send you my sign up link or use my code KIA.BAR1 so you receive 5 credits to get you started. #kindredpartner #solotravel #barcelonarecs #houseswap #eurotrip
