Gaslighting 101: Are we choosing 50% of something or 100% of nothing? Don't fall for the 'wait 14 months' scam. An abatement is an incentive, plain and simple. #TaxAbatement #Government #Finance #ScamAlert #WakeUp

The commissioner lost it! Called someone a smart ass when asked about town hall questions. After the election commissioners not interested in attending town hall. Real professional. #TownHallDrama #Politics #LocalGovernment #ElectionSeason

A tax abatement, in plain English: For Crusoe → property tax is just an expense. Cut it, make more profit. 💰 For Leon County → that tax is OUR money. It pays for a fire marshal we don't even have yet, senior programs, parks, roads. 🚒 And they're financing 95% of a $34B project themselves. They don't need our tax dollars to build it. We deserve every penny they'd owe. 👇 #LeonCounty #Crusoe #DataCenter #Texas #fyp

Their application: 2,500 jobs for Leon County 📄 Their CEO on camera: we'll "import a lot of labor" 🎤 Abilene is 120,000 people and still had to bring workers in. We're 16,000. Do the math. 👇 #LeonCounty #Crusoe #DataCenter #Texas #WaterRights #fyp

Our county says there's nothing they can do about data centers. A Texas state representative just said otherwise. In this hearing, Rep. Trent Ashby tells county officials straight up: a commissioner's court resolution "carries a lot of weight" with the legislature — and it forces a public conversation among citizens. So the power was there the whole time. The only question left is whether our Commissioners Court will actually use it. 👇 Watch, then ask them: where's our resolution? #LocalGovernment #Policy #Community #HighSpeedRail #ResourceManagement #LeonCounty #DataCenter #TexasPolitics #LocalControl #NaturalResources #KnowLeonCounty #CommissionersCourt #TexasLegislature

Leon County Commissioners, if you're considering a tax abatement for a data center, remember who you work for. Voters are watching, and they'll have the final say at the ballot box.
