The pressure to be “tough” and “unshakable” can make it harder for men—especially those in the military—to speak up when they’re hurting. But mental strength isn’t just about pushing through. jumped on this trend.. 12 years together and honestly… when i think about how long ago that feels, it’s crazy. we were younger, had no idea what we were doing, and definitely had no idea that we’d still be here over 12 years later. we’ve literally been through a whole era of life together. 🥹 we’ve grown up together, changed together, made mistakes, learned lessons, went through hard times, had some of the best times, built a family, made a home, and somehow kept finding our way back to each other through all of it. 12+ years is a LOT of life. so many versions of ourselves have existed since that day, and i think that’s what makes it so special to me. we’re not the same two people we were in 2014, but we’ve gotten to become all these different versions of ourselves together. it hasn’t always been easy and it definitely hasn’t always been perfect, but it’s ours. and when i really sit and think about everything we’ve lived through together, i’m just grateful. ❤️
