Why does a January order from China ship at the end of March, when the official holiday is about a week? Queueing theory explains it: when factories run close to full capacity, waiting time explodes. From Erlang (1909) and Kingman (1961) to the Spring Festival travel rush, here's how the queue builds before the holiday, stops during it, and never restarts from zero after. Chinese New Year 2027 falls on 6 February — so plan backwards from early December. #chinesenewyear #chinasourcing #ImportFromChina #SupplyChain #ChineseBusiness #chinesefactory

Importing from China with a "door to door, all taxes included" quote? Here is how grey clearance (灰清) builds that price, and who carries the risk when customs opens the box. We walk through the logic: one container shared by many sellers, a fraction of the real value declared, a bet on low inspection rates, and why the "60% cheaper" quote is closer to 6% once you reclaim import VAT. Then three real enforcement cases and three things to check before you accept a quote. #chinasourcing #ImportFromChina #DDP #CustomsClearance #ChineseBusiness #chinesefactory
