I see this over and over again. Big EMPTY enclosures. And we wonder why they stay in their hide all day. I can't repeat this enough, lots of cover will let you see your animals more!!! They will feel bolder and come out because they aren't stressed from feeling exposed! #bestpet #pets #enclosure #animals #reptile

wildlife PSA . window wells are often death traps for small animals. And some animals you may be afraid to reach in to rescue. that's why having a "ladder" of some sort is important #wildlife #wildlifephotography #nature #naturephotography #rescue #toads #crapaud #frog #mice #snake #deathtrap

psa on how to safely move a common snapping turtle for both you and the animal. -Always handle from the rear -never pull by the tail -ALWAYS carry them in the direction they were going! #safety #endangered #conservation #turtle #snappingturtle #reptile #animal #herpetology #herpetologist #pondlife #countryliving #countrylife #farmlife

the crow is always watched each spooky season in my house. Usually the week of Halloween. It takes place on Devils Night. If you have not seen it yet, we highly recommend you watch it in the next 9 days. Just say a sailfin dragon lizard told you to #horror #Halloween #spookyseason #goth #animals

in Erin township there is a town called Orton. However, one weekend each year, many brave souls try and fail to walk through these grounds #hauntedhouse #Halloween #goth #spookyseason #Samhain

IT was a great novel and produced two great adaptations. Tim Curry played a great clown on the low budget, while the new version had much better effects and R rated horror. #clowns #Halloween #horrormovie #spookyseason #snake

I'm very much about letting people wear what they want. However, anyone who can workout in a big hoodie should not be trusted ! #gym #gymshorts #gymattire #frog #humor

THE LOST BOYS is such a classic movie. It is a must watch each spooky season to kick off my Halloween spirit. I highly recommend this horror movie. I just don't recommend eating Chinese take out while watching- trust us ! #goth #Halloween #spookyseason #animals #pets

friends don't let friends watch JASON X. Happy frog Friday everyone. These nocturnal pet frogs love staying up late for horror movies with me. #goth #frog #Halloween #spookyseason #pets

you heard it here first, my snake didn't dare blink once! happy Spooky Season. Remember, it's never too early to celebrate Halloween or go goth. #horrormovierecommendation #reptile #animals #pets #creatorsearchinsights

4 foot enclosures are great for allowing heat gradients, but not all cages are created equally. And if you are not using a UV halogen bulb, make sure you have a uv light near your basking lamp too. Checking basking spot and cold side temperatures are best done BEFORE you put your pet reptiles in. #reptile #pets #animals #enclosure #reptileroom

An under rated horror movie and an under rated pet lizard. My Northern blue tongue skink suggests Jennifer's Body as a great Halloween pick #pets #reptile #animals #spookyseason #horror

if you have not seen this movie, you NEED TO ! Truly captures the spirit of Halloween #spookyseason #goth #animals #horrormovie #Halloween

Bigger animals means bigger enclosures. Bigger water features. Bigger heat and humity parameters to deal with. #bestpet #pets #animals #reptile #lizard

Happy Spooky Season. Some of my reptiles' reviews and recommendations for Halloween horror movies. My ball python here thinks THE CONJURING is worthy for you to watch this month for those into scary movies #reptile #pets #animals #spookyseason #horrormovie

Twas the night before October... My apologies to all my followers. Halloween will be my ENTIRE personality for the next month. I'll try and slip in some of my pets still, like my Joey red kangaroo and Northern blue tongue skink lizard here. You have been warned ! #spookyseason #goth #Halloween #animals #babyanimals

my carrot crop has a bit mixed results to say the least... #gardening #garden #countrylife #farmlife #countryliving

These guys usually sleep through the heat of the day. These cooler temperatures mean they are a lot more active #Kangaroo #pets #animals #zoo #bestpet

What do you do for a living? Let's see if the stereo type is true and exotic pet owners of reptiles are all rock and roll band members or not. #pets #bestpet #animals #reptile #frog

please be polite and have actual conversations and debates. People can disagree. If they are being obnoxious, then you need to be the bigger person and move on. #petexpo #animals #animalrights #reptile #pets

Animal rights groups do care about animals, but they can get it wrong. Here are a few talking points that commonly come up #reptile #animals #pets #animalrights #petexpo

nothing beats natural sunlight. My Hydrosaur pustulatus likes it hot and humid. Without uv light, her muscles get weak and her bones irreversibly weak from lack of calcium absorption #animals #pets #lizard #reptile sunbathing

zoos have come a long way and to be an accredited zoo, they have to participate in conservation programs. The government should be encouraging this, not preventing it with bureaucracy that was aimed at the illegal trade. #zoo #pets #bestpet #animals #conservation

People in North America fail to realize that Australia does have winter and animals have cycles to deal with these changes. #Kangaroo #animals #Australia #pets #zoo

That jump was not scripted! Frogs breath through their skin, so it has to be kept moist. Our dry skin can wick away that moisture, and any chemical residue from soaps, moisturizer or fragrances can get wicked up by them #frog #animals #reptile #pets #skincare

My axolotl doesn't play by the rules. And all my fellow pale goths and all the ghosts and ghouls are here to represent for the next 2 months. Happy Spooky Season #goth #axolotl #animals #spookyseason #drip
