I get frustrated at times I must admit the business of music & art is a beast & a bitch I wanna play like a child in an over grown field I wanna sing songs for the whole world to hear they say yer numbers are goin down and ya ain’t gettin’ younger I say never underestimate an old man’s hunger I was born with this thorn that sticks from my side I was born to bring dreams into the light I was raised to behave but to put up a fight You and me baby, we’re the dreamin’ kind Dream Come True filmed by sister @savannahlaurenphoto #singersongwriter #newsong #folk #fyp

We Are The Animals!! 🤘 words & music by Silver

Beans Featuring my boy Silver Over the pandemic, I attempted to write the purest song I possibly could. I ended writing Beans. Beans are a divine thing. Beans have nourished the poor for thousands of years. One tiny seed can grow into a whole harvest. They are the little engine that could. I love em and so does my son. Now I get to sing it with him. He seems to think that I eat meat for some reason but daddy don’t eat no meat. Bless you beans and bless us all. Power to the people. Power to the beans 🫘 ❤️ #beans #folk #singersongwriter

Dream Come True This song was written as a quiet but thunderous prayer. A rally call to myself and anyone willing to listen. A rebel yell. I look back at my life and sometimes slow down enough to see my place in it right here and now. Many things have changed but one major thing that’s remained is fear. One could fill an entire ocean with fear and spend their whole life just tryin not to drown. I dreamt recently that I had died and was greeted by a voice that said, “fear only fear, fear only fear”, then I woke up. That was a real good dream. Be damned the conditioning that taught us to be scared and small. Be damed those voices that told us not to sing and dance freely. Be damned the lessons we learned that value greed over love. I believe there are many roads to the divine. Don’t ask for permission. “They” don’t know the road like YOU do. Without a dream, you can’t have a dream come true ❤️ #dream #singersongwriter #folk

Without a dream, you can’t have a dream come true. The Dreamin’ Kind for yer consideration ❤️‍🔥 #dreamcometrue #fyc #awards

yo let’s clear the air… here’s a new ripper by doo doo silver and doo doo slim. an instant classic, “we have butts” is a song about anatomy, name changes, the recent passing of our beloved dog, asha and holding love in our hearts. we tackle a lot of subjects in our music so pay attention! let’s face it, life can be shitty but it helps to remember, we all have butts. #singersongwriter #love #butts #silver #dadtok

My son is taking a nap, the house is quiet, so I did what any reasonable man in my shoes would do… went into the bathroom and made a cover of @cypresshill’s masterpiece, “Illusions”. This song’s been stuck in my head for the last 30 years. The OG sounds nothin like this but I hope I did it some justice with my reimagining. Long live @cypresshill ☘️ #coversong #cyprusshill #singersongwriter #fypシ
