After taking three months to reflect, I am ready to share: I personally found my IFS training experience to be disorganized, intellectually lacking, and extremely long. I am glad I did it, mostly to say that I’ve done it. Instructionally it was weak and extremely disappointing. I met a lot of great people, and am grateful for those connections. Replying to @KendallLite I think that if not alienating prospective clients was more important than social advocacy, the NASW wouldn’t endorse political candidates. My license type (LCSW) is enough to give the public a really solid guess about my politics and values.
