A woman of noble character is worth the wait. Proverbs 21:9 & 21:19 — Better to live on the corner of a roof or in the desert than with a quarrelsome, nagging wife. Proverbs 31:10 — “A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.” Jacob worked seven years for Rachel, got deceived with Leah, then worked another seven years for the one he actually chose (Genesis 29). The point stands: the right woman is worth the wait. I’m 32, never married, no kids — and still selective on purpose. Not giving up. Nice is being pleasant, polite, and agreeable. It’s mostly about surface behavior and keeping things smooth. Kind is acting with genuine care for someone else’s good—even when it’s inconvenient, uncomfortable, or not socially easy. You can be nice without being kind (smiling while staying silent when someone needs the truth). You can be kind without being especially nice (giving blunt but useful feedback).
