I start with wet hair and will typically use a volumizing root spray. My go-to is the John Frieda Volume Lift that you see in the video. Then I go in with the Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumizer which I put that all throughout my hair. I’ve just started using the Color Wow Dream Coat, and love it! Once I put all of the products in my hair, I brush or comb it all through to make sure everything is even. Then I’ll start by just using a traditional blow dryer and just focus on my roots making sure that I’m creating some volume and blow-drying it in different directions. Once my roots are pretty dry, I’ll section my hair and go in with my Revlon One-Step Blow Dryer. It’s important to have tension when you’re using this. Once I get to the top section of my head, I will blow-dry it in both directions. pulling it backwards and then pulling it forwards to create a little bit more volume. It’s super important as you get closer to your face because you want to create good volume and lift around your hairline. I usually finish with an anti frizz serum but I just ran out of mine. I love the John Freida frizz ease serum. It’s smoothing without making your hair look greasy. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments. Replying to @No it's not Nance The easiest haircut to do at home! It’s the butterfly haircut method using two ponytails. For reference, I have long, fine hair that’s naturally wavy. I usually round brush my hair, so it hides any flaws from an at-home haircut. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have thin or straight hair (not a hairdresser though, so you decide!). I also have no idea if you can do this on curly hair, but I don’t see why not, especially if you’ve had layers before. The most important things to remember are ponytail placement, little to no bumps in your hair, and making sure to cut on the same angle your hair is already in. Point cutting can be your friend! if it looks choppy, put it back in the ponytails while your hair is dry and point cut a little. It can help with any jagged edges.
