Lately, I’ve been looking back at old pictures of myself. Back then, I was working hard, but the results weren’t showing yet. Now, the results are here, and the effort has to continue. It’s hard to admit, but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved. At the same time, I’m scared. I’m afraid of going back to where I was. Those old pictures remind me of the weight I carried—physically and emotionally—and they motivate me to keep pushing. I don’t want to work hard at 350 pounds again; I want to work hard here, now, and become the best version of myself for my wife, my kids, and my family.
