For a long time I was saving up my money to buy from slow fashion brands, or spending way too much money at the thrift store buying things I dont need. Now I build a wardrobe I love by thoughtfully adding pieces to it that I make myself by hand! 4 years later and my wardrobe is filled with 90% of clothing that I made. Blocking (aka washing and then laying flat) your new knits helps relax the stiches and blooms the yarn 🧶 Before blocking, the sweater was a bit short in the body and the sleeves and stiff theoufh the neckline. Blocking relaxed everything and gave it the extra length and ease i needed.

I can totally imagine her knitting in her little cottage too
