I am not lying when I say we could visit this farm over and over again. My boy has the absolute best days there! 🐐 There is so much to see and do, the indoor play area is a great new addition and my boy loved the tractor ride almost as much as he loved playing in the sand. We visited on a weekday and it was cheap and nice and quiet, meaning we had the best day just taking our time there. We have also been for event days before, like pumpkin picking, and they have always been amazing! We had the loveliest creative morning at @TheStarTreeStudio yesterday getting stuck into a hands-on art session full of colour, textures and fun! From using paint, glue and tissue paper to create the sea, experimenting with scrapers and shapes to make boats, to building our very own mini boats using corks and recycled materials. My little one absolutely loved it! 🌊 The Star Tree Studio offers a range of creative sessions for a range of ages, including Art Stars, Tinker Tots, Home Ed Art Stars and Sensory Pop Ins. Now, we have posted about this forest school before, but we have only attended the Little Cub sessions. Today, we went to the open age family session and, WOW, it was amazing! It had all the fun and activities of the little cub sessions, like messy tuff trays, planting seeds and playing in the mud kitchen, with so much more! We learned how to use tools safely, took part in lots of craft activities, learnt how to light a fire, toasted marshmallows and so much more! With a park, fairground rides, a cafe, Concorde tours and a flight simulator all by the side of Manchester airport’s runway, it is definitely a firm favourite. Nobody talks about this farm enough, but it’s an amazing day out, especially when the sun is shining. From petting the rabbits, to feeding the goats, to eating ice cream, to swinging on the swings, to a foam party and so much more, we had the best time! It is definitely worth a visit this summer!
