We spent time getting to know each other better, working together on fun team-building activities, and celebrating what makes our class unique. We also enjoyed the story Where the Wild Things Are 🦁🐾, which inspired awesome designs and created their very own Wild Things using natural treasures! The children showed so much creativity and teamwork – it was wonderful to see their imaginations come to life. Today we found a creative and refreshing way to help the children stay cool — by making our very own DIY foot spas! 😄 With a bit of warm weather and lots of happy feet, we set up trays of cool water for the children to dip their toes in and relax. Add a comfy seat (like a gym ball!), and it’s the perfect way to unwind after a busy morning of learning. The children loved the sensory experience and had so much fun chatting and laughing while cooling off. Today’s Focus: Balance, Coordination & Teamwork Today, the children engaged in a variety of physical activities designed to support their motor development, coordination, and teamwork skills. They explored: • 🛴 Scooters – enhancing coordination and gross motor control. • 🌀 Balance Maze Boards – challenging their balance, core strength, coordination, proprioception, and patience as they guided a ball through a spiral maze using only their feet. • 👣 Team Walking Planks – encouraging cooperative movement and communication as they learned to walk in unison. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different equipment and showed great enthusiasm and collaboration throughout.
