@daftpunk will become "LEGO After All" as part of a new partnership with the toy manufacturer. Donning LED helmets inspired by their Alive Tour 2007 suits, the duo have been reimagined as @lego minifigures to announce the new venture. The first-of-its-kind collaboration, which will span "product, content and brand experiences," follows years of appeals from both LEGO and Daft Punk fan communities to immortalise the French duo in brick form. The partnership will greenlight the production of the fan-created Alive Tour 2007-inspired set, which was first submitted to LEGO's Product Ideas platform in 2024, recreating the tour's legendary pyramid-shaped stage. The design won Grand Prize in a global LEGO competition and has since garnered 10,000 supporters. Read more at Mixmag.net #daftpunk #lego #electronicmusic #legotiktok

It's been 25 years since the release of ‘Drukqs’, Aphex Twin’s fifth studio record. Released on this day in 2001, the album includes a series of boundary-pushing tracks and the beloved piano composition ‘Avril 14th’. It was rumoured that Aphex Twin, aka Richard D. James, preemptively released the album, then intended to be his last on @warprecords, to prevent it from being leaked after he accidentally left an MP3 player containing its tracks on a plane. This year, Warp announced the reissue of 'Drukqs' across vinyl, CD and cassette to celebrate its anniversary. #aphextwin #drukqs #musicanniversary #raveculture #electronicmusic
