‎#JERZA — ofc im ending it all with Jerza 😼 ‎ ‎Hello, Everyone. Tbh, idk who will bother to read all of these but to I'll just go straight to the point before yapping allat. ‎ ‎I'll quit editing. ‎ ‎Yes, I had considered about quiting these past few months and I just really don't find the spark to continue anymore. I have a few reasons why I want to quit. First, like I said, I just don't feel the excitement anymore to continue. I don't envision myself continue to post until what? 2-3 years? I only started editing because I found how cool it is to edit your favorite characters—like you have a free will to do so. I barely see Fairy Tail edits, so I started to edit them because I love the anime so much. It's literally my top 1, idc what y'all say. ‎ ‎Of course, I was new. I was excited. I wasn't expecting much but to edit and post. I wasn't desperate for likes or followers. I just did it for fun. I didn't expect I would gain something from this except the joy of editing my favorite characters. It was supposed to be one post, but it turned into two, then three, until I ended up here; consistently editing my favourite characters and gaining new friends. But now, as much as I want to edit them more, I don't really have the motivation, inspiration, and excitement to continue. It wasn't the same anymore as it was before I started to edit them. It just depleted. I lost my consistency with my style as well—which is so annoying. ‎ ‎Second, hectic schedule. This is also a main issue(?) because ever since I was nominated for Technical and Staff in our department—my job is to edit and all that. I couldn't find time to edit a 20 secs video that takes 3-4 hours for me to finish it 💀 It's a waste of time. And I don't want to waste my time editing when I could've used those to edit school publication material. ‎ ‎Another reason is school. College will definitely give you a hard time—it gave me a hard time and no time to have a free time to edit. I am one of those people who prioritize my acads over anything and anyone, it's sick ngl. That’s why I barely post because I’m always so busy with school and stuff. ‎ ‎But to be honest, I am really glad that editing my favorite characters got me here. It got me somewhere where my editing skills were recognized not only through online, but also irl. My seniors saw the help I gave when I edited out the ID lanyard—mind you, it was noticed when I was so bothered with my friend’s style with the lanyard. Like, bruh, why do it brown??? (jk, I love my friend, and dw, teasing him is basically our love language with each other). I adjusted everything in that lanyard by changing the color and design—Of course, I’m going to give my other close friend of mine credit for helping me as well—both of us are part of the tech&staff. And that's when my seniors recognized that I had the skill to edit. They really loved the lanyard and it made me so happy that I helped and did not feel useless. ‎ ‎And after that, I started to work a lot in editing publications, wherein my friend and I always edit a lot of publications, and more to go. And hopefully I will get a new device to start editing films and stuff for my department. Again, I’m really happy and proud that something I just do for fun has made people amazed at my work and given me a role. It’s not easy, but it’s something I can manage. It feels like a skill of mine has been seen. I’m so grateful and happy just by thinking about it. ‎ ‎Special mention: I just want to mention a senior of mine whom I idolized so much. She's really good at editing, has welcomed me to the department and showed kindness. Wherever she is now, I hope you'll see how the Psychology Department in our school shined.
