This might be my favourite class plan 🔥 FULL class plan in 60s 💙 This class is focused on the posterior chain, building up to pulling straps 1 and 2 We start with rolls backs, getting into some back extension to wake up the core muscles as well as open through the chest. Chest expansion and rhomboids to work the upper back, lats, deltoids and triceps as well as introducing movement patterns that will be repeated in pulling straps. The 4 point kneeling sequence challenges the glutes, hamstrings and the stability of the trunk, and the single arm chest expansion and triceps press further challenges the same muscles as earlier but with more load and more stability challenge as it’s a unilateral move. All of this builds us up to pulling straps 1 and 2. The layers shown in the video is a great way to build up the exercise and if a client is struggling they can stick to the first layer and still get great work out of the movement. This whole main phase class flow can be done on one light spring 💛 The unilateral kneeling section will get your shoulders absolutely burning 🥵 The alternating side lunges whilst holding the carriage still on that really light spring are way more challenging than they seem! And a good ol’ plank to tie it all off before repeating the sequence on the other side 🔄 📌 SAVE NOW & TRY LATER 📌

FULL CLASS PLAN in (less than) 90s! All done on one blue spring 💙 Your clients will definitely remember this one 🥵 ✨EXTRA TIPS: • for all the rowing and pulling, focus on engaging the upper back, squeezing the shoulder blades together • in the step downs I'm slightly pulling the strap back, keeping lats engaged to aid stability and challenge the lats • half roll back section: we are rounding the low back in a C shape curve, not the shoulders and upper spine, keep shoulders back + collarbones wide ✅ 📌SAVE NOW & TRY LATER📌 Drop me any questions in the comments #reformerpilatesinstructor #pilatesworkout #reformerclass #reformerpilates #pilatesinstructor

Full class plan in 60 seconds! 🫧 You can do it all on one blue spring (medium) 💙 ✨ A few extra tips: - The lunges and planks will me harder on a light spring and the upper body section can be done on a heavy spring for those super strong clients! - The side planks can be done with the supporting foot on footbar as a spicy progression - Repeat the unilateral work in reverse order for that supper satisfying flow Any questions do let me know 💬 📌SAVE NOW & TRY LATER📌 Top @TALA Bottoms @Fabletics #PilatesInstructor #reformerpilatesinstructor #pilatesworkout #reformerpilates #reformerpilatesclass

Full Beginner Class Plan in 90 seconds 💪🏼 I get asked a lot abou beginner friendly class plans and this is genuinely my go-to for complete beginners. It’s a great introduction to the reformer whilst still being super challenging for those a bit more experienced. Keeping it simple yet super effective. Challenging yet not overwhelming ✨ ℹ️ EXTRA TIPS ℹ️ • At the beginning of class I like to remind people that they don’t need to take every progression, every layer, take what you need today. Finding that balance between challenging but doable 🔥 • When offering layers let the current layer settle for a few reps before adding anything else. • Read the room, if everyone is struggling to get what you’ve just offered them, maybe skip the last layer you had planned. Keep it simple. • The lunges like this is a great option for beginners as you can keep one hand on the footbar throughout or whenever needed for a bit of extra support. Even simpler, skip the box, do them with your supporting leg on the ground. • For the hip work at the end, focus on getting your clients to understand and achieve the stability (stillness) of the pelvis and spine. I like having hands on hips for a bit of feedback. 📌SAVE NOW & TRY LATER 📌 Leggings @Gymshark Women | Top @Fabletics | Cardigan #missselfridge #reformerpilatesinstructor #reformerpilates #pilatesworkout #reformerclass

Loooove the dowel 🔥 Super flowy class plan, super challenging, creative whilst very rooted in the original repertoire 💫 Especially a fan of the first section, that footwork inspired sequence with the dowel just hits different. I’d definitely call this class a strong intermediate, but as you can see everything is layered so everyone gets the right level of challenge for what they need 🫶🏼 📌 SAVE NOW & TRY LATER 📌 Let me know what you think 💭 wearing @Fabletics 💙 #reformerpilatesinstructor #pilatesinstructor #reformerpilates #pilatesworkout

Class plan in 60 seconds with some smooooth transitions 🫧✨ Here’s a few extra tips 💡: - You can warm up with the same spring - kneel on the carriage and start with some cat/cow, puppy stretch, child’s pose etc. Include some dynamic stretches of hip flexors and hamstrings. For core activation you could do some wheelbarrows, knee hovers and planks. 💪🏼 - There’s a lot in that class so time management is key 🔑 if you can see the room is struggling with form, spend longer in some exercises and skip some of the layers. Great form over too much content, ALWAYS. - There’s plenty of other exercises you can do in each set up, so you can change it up to whatever you’d like to work on with your clients but keep some of the lovely transitions ⏭️ - You definitely adapt this class for beginners, if you’d like to see how I would do that, leave me a comment and I’ll post that soon 📝 📌 SAVE NOW AND TRY LATER 📌 This video is sped up. Full class plan in 60 seconds 🌶️🔥 🫧 Squeaky clean transitions 🫧 This whole class can be done on 1 blue spring (medium) and using the shortbox. ✨ Extra tips: • The lunges are harder on a lighter spring, you can offer that option to your clients. • In the lunges ALL of your weight stays in the front leg as much as possible. Hinge the hips back and the torso forwards and aim the back knee towards the carriage. • You could go a bit heavier for the first upper body section, 1 red (heavy) is a good challenge) • For side sit ups set up your clients starting with the inside hand on the head rest, it’s a great trick to get that lovely diagonal line alignment with hips stacked and spine long. 📌SAVE NOW & TRY LATER📌 Any questions let me know ⬇️ Would you want a voiceover version of this video? #pilatesinstructor #reformerpilatesinstructor #pilatesworkout #reformerpilates #reformerpilatesclass

Time moves quickly, but presence slows it down. Learning to balance upside down has mirrored how I want to move through this year: steady effort, patience with the process, and discipline without urgency. Letting go of attachment to how fast or how perfect things look, and choosing to be more present with the process rather than obsessed with results. A headstand happens by breathing, stacking one small action on top of another. It reminds me that goals don’t need obsession and when I loosen my grip on results, I move more steadily and with more trust. What’s something you’re learning to approach with more patience this year? #yogapractice #mindfulness #headstand #pilatesintructor #fy

Full reformer class plan in 90 seconds 🌶️ Set up: 1 blue (1 medium spring) 💙 Footbar up ⬆️ A few extra tips: • Don’t feel the need to add EVERY layer. I’m giving you options. Read the room. If people are struggling dial it back, if people are stable and holding their form that’s when you offer progressions. • In the high kneeling upper body section the shins press down on the carriage to help the hips lift, engage the glutes and the arms move at the same time as the rest of the body, avoid any momentum. Think UP rather • If your clients are struggling with their plank form, skip the side plank and spend more time of the regular planks to get the form in tip top shape. • Both the these pikes and for the reverse knee stretch: the contraction of the abdominals initiates the movement. Imagine you’re being tickled in the belly button and you’re pulling away from that tickle.
