Best Wishes to All is about a young woman who visits her grandparents’ home, where everything is not as it seems. Not long after her arrival, she notices strange things happening around her, which ignites a slow, nightmarish and hellish descent into the supernatural unknown. She begins to unearth shocking truths about her seemingly perfect grandparents that involve decades of generational trauma and sacrifices of the most shocking kind. The feature-length debut from Yûta Shimotsu, Best Wishes To All, is the feature adaptation of the 12-minute short of the same film, which was produced by Takashi Shimizu, who is best known for the J Horror classic Ju On (The Grudge). With Mr Shimizu producing, I already know that this film will haunt our dreams for years to come. #moviehooker
