Gritty edgy and full of angst! TAKE ME TO CHURCH… when I say the dance is huge… It’s HUGE!! So huge there’s no number of counts of the steps sheet or walls, but trust me there’s walls AND counts! Here I’m teaching my advanced lyrical dance “NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU”… to the track #TheVillage by WRABEL. A wow moment in my choreography career and won the overall World Dance Masters Choreography Competition 2 years ago. #dreambig #DJandInstructor #advancedlinedancer

Looking for somewhere to dance in the sun (in the UK)? How about sunny Bournemouth this weekend; join me an a bevy of amazing choreographers & instructors at @elds #EXPO… your one stop shop weekend for workshops, social dancing, merchandise, shoes, wellbeing (yes there’s an amazing massage therapist there too!). See you on the dancefloor soon… I’m teaching: CRYSTAL BALL, 4EVER IN OUR HEARTS and NORDIC PULSE (co-written with Niels Poulsen, JP Madge, Adam Åstmar, Jonas Dahlgren & Malene Jakobson) 💙💚🩷🪩💃🕺

MR KNOW IT ALL… such a bop, love love it. Had the pleasure of teaching my dance Crystal Ball to this track around the world… AND it’s coming to Bournemouth & Chicago this month!

Instructors hot take… A simple step… a side touch, side touch is sometimes referred to as a #HANDBAGSTEP 👜 step. This a technically dance slang but still gets the dancer to the same end point. Is this wrong to describe things in a way to aid peoples learning or should we only ever use the correct terminalogy? I’m an instructor with 20 years experience in the business and I often describe things in a visual way to help my students learn; I find they retain it better as they remember the fun visual picture I gave them. What do you think? #LinedanceInstructor #Handbag #michaellynnlinedance #InstructorOfTheYearNominee

If you are thinking 🤔… should I learn this? If you are a smoothie, you need to stop wondering and put “I WONDER” to the top of your pile. An utterly divine, angelic, dreamy, turney, advanced (yes advanced) nightclub 2step from Lee Hamilton. Much like myself often getting pigeonholed as only an advanced dancer, Lee often only gets recognised for his legacy or beginner/improver dances. Please don’t sleep on this STUNNING dance, easily one of my favourite releases from that’s years dances. 🪽 💃 I WONDER 🙋🏻‍♂️ @Lee Hamilton 🎶 i Wonder by Rob Martin 🪩 96 Counts / 1 Wall / Phr Adv 🌍 Luke Shrimpton Workshop, Wales 📹 thehowdits (Vid Credit) #LinedanceInstructor #michaellynnlinedance #newlinemk #advancedlinedancer #DJandInstructor

FATE OR FORTUNE… 🎱 🔮 absolutely BONKERS new dance coming from myself. Paso Doble, Nightclub2Step, Techno Hard House AND the kitchen sink! 🤣🤣 100+ counts and 2 sections that are in counts of 6. I know… BONKERS. Coming soon! #uklinedancer #uklinedance #michaellynnlinedance #DJandInstructor #newlinemk ***unfortunately TikTok have muted the sound, I’ve tried to edit in their version of the track to give you an idea but the match isn’t perfect.***

Choreographing at work has its challenges. Incorrect equipment, fitting my creativity into my lunch break, no tripods, uneven surfaces, carpets, no space, burley lorry drivers interrupting midtwirl 🤣🤣 I never miss an opportunity to dance. Two new dances incoming… a spiritual nightclub and a phrased improver viking-stomp-oktoberfest! Watch this space 👀 #uklinedancer #uklinedance #michaellynnlinedance #DJandInstructor #linedancers

HONKYTONK HIGHWAY Social, Birmingham, Aug 2026. One word… INCREDIBLE! The energy, the vibe, the warmth, friendliness and laughs. #advancedlinedancer #uklinedance #uklinedancer #newlinemk #michaellynnlinedance

Have you felt the NORDIC PULSE! Coming very soon to dance floors near you. A fantastic deep and dirty samba! Choreographed by Michael Lynn (me), Adam Åstmar, Niels Poulsen, JP Madge, Jonas Dahlgren & Malene Jakobsen. #NordicPulse #advancedlinedancer #uklinedancer #uklinedance #newlinemk

Recording videos and the frustration is real. Head knows what I’m doing but the feet haven’t caught up. Love showing the progression and the mess ups. Embrace the fails, they all shape us as dancers… even with tantrums, outbursts and eye rolls. I have quite a few fall videos somewhere too 🤣🤣🤣 #LinedanceInstructor #michaellynnlinedance #newlinemk #advancedlinedancer #DJandInstructor

Oxygen PLEASE! That’s what you’ll need after dancing the epic PUMP IT! This classic by Masters In Line from circa 2006 was groundbreaking at the time. Dances were 80% country and 2005 onwards more contemporary l, modern, funky tracks were being used my trailblazers like MIL. Stop to catch your breath and you’ll be 6 counts behind. Utterly love this dance, check the airtime… as you jump and kick. Awesome dance! 💃 PUMP IT 👥 Masters In Line 🎶 Pump It by Black Eyed Peas 🪩 48 Counts / 2 Wall / Advanced 🌍 Crystal Boot Awards, Blackpool 📹 Me (Vid Credit) #LinedanceInstructor #michaellynnlinedance #newlinemk #advancedlinedancer #DJandInstructor
