Honestly, one of the coolest things about UGC is that I get to do it with my kids. Family UGC is such a fun niche and Jessica Holland is the gold standard when it comes to involving your family as your niche. This was such a fun episode! Don't get me wrong, UGC has changed my life and I still stand by my opinion that it's one of the lowest barrier to entry ways to make money in 2026... BUT that doesn't mean it's as easy as all these internet gurus make it sound. As long as you know the amount of effort it takes going into it, UGC can be a great source of additional income

Don't sleep on experiences in your local city or while you travel! Every type of offering needs UGC and experiences aren't an exclusion.

I've been asked why I didn't just keep coaching UGC on my own instead of joining ugcmastery.academy 1000x. If you're a new follower, you probably think I am some outdoor enthusiast based on my last few reels 😂😂 Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the day-to-day and these projects, and these revisions, and these shots, and all this b-roll that we forget to actually think about how far we have come. Don't forget that.

They didn't both immediately run away this time, I call that progress! One of the things I was worried about going all in to UGC was if my kids would be negatively affected by it - whether it be kids they know seeing me in ads or them thinking it was the lamest thing ever (yes I do care about my teenage daughters' opinions), but it's been a relief to see them actually embrace it and show interest in UGC. They both just wrapped up a $500 UGC deal last week, they are always asking when they can get more gigs, and they are actually excited to tell me when one of their friends sees my ads come across their YouTube video. Now we just need to work on the dancing skills 😅

There's always going to be risk involved, no matter what you do. I'd rather risk trying something and failing and learning than risk staying in the same boring place and wasting years. It's all about which risk you are willing to live with.
