What a weekend up in the Highlands chasing common skate 🎣 Weather was absolutely brutal, but we cracked on. 2 common skate landed, plenty of bites, a few dropped and a few good fish lost along the way. Had some proper battles, including a 25lb conger that gave us a hell of a scrap! 💪 The weather battered us, the gear took a hammering and we were absolutely knackered by the end of it 😂 But that’s what it’s all about. Big fish, wild weather, good people and plenty of laughs. Wouldn’t have it any other way🎣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 #bigfish #SkateFishing #scotland #fish #fyp @hookedsouthwales @big lad fishing adventures @TSRHarbourLife @william @Source2Coast_Angling @Finesse Fishing adventures

A spectacular scene off Oban as shoals of Scottish mackerel tear into huge numbers of whitebait close to shore. The feeding frenzy is so intense that the mackerel are driving the baitfish right onto the slipway, with the water boiling as they hunt. A remarkable glimpse of nature at its wildest — the mackerel working together, pushing the whitebait into the shallows and making the most of an incredible feeding opportunity. Oban at its finest, with the sea putting on a show right at the water’s edge.#mackerel #scotland #fyp #freshfish #nature
