we’re back for day twooooooo, baby! mildred is bubbbbblin’ and I am here for it! let’s take a vote - will I succeed at this? yes or no? • #glutenfreesourdough #sourdoughstarter #glutenfreebaking #pcosjourney #beginnerbaker

turns out starting over doesn’t mean you magically have it all figured out. plot twist… you’re still you 🫠🙃 one day (and one ice cream) at a time 🤍 • #startingoveragain #lifeinyour30s #findingyourself #lifereset #rediscoveringmyself

on a random june morning - i opened tiktok and saw @G FLIP announce they were coming to canada. so naturally, as one does - i bought concert tickets. then plane tickets. then informed my sister we were going 😂 THEN found out @The Beaches were playing the following night. so obviously, we bought tickets to that too. all very financially responsible behaviour in the midst of selling your business and packing up your life to move with everything all up in the air. but somewhere between the impulsive decisions, questionable spending habits and harmonizing so damn well with the bands, i realized something. i was getting my spark back 🥹✨ anyway, life is short. book the trip. go to the concert. make the memories. your bank account will recover. probably. • #startingover #concertmemories #thebeaches #gflip #gettingyoursparkback

day 1 of my gluten-free sourdough era. unemployed, easily influenced and apparently looking for another hobby. expectations are low. delusions are high. please respect our privacy during this difficult time. • #glutenfreesourdough #sourdoughstarter #pcosjourney #glutenfreebaking #startingover

it’s so easy to get caught up in where we’re going, what we haven’t accomplished yet and how far we still have to go. but sometimes you need to stop and recognize how far you’ve already come. you did it. you survived the things you thought you couldn’t. you made it through days you didn’t know how you would. and maybe you’re still figuring it all out, but look at you. you’re doing it baby! 🤍 • #startingover #personalgrowth #newbeginnings #selfreflection #lifeinyour30s

spent the afternoon wandering around fort langley, which genuinely feels like stepping into an episode of gilmore girls!! the cutest little shops, flowers and fall vibes 🤍 bought some goodies from @mavenfortlangley + @floralista made a very adult pit stop for groceries AND discovered christmas has officially entered the chat!!🎄 followed by an apple cardy b latte from @pleasantcoffee.ca apple, cardamom & autumn spiced sugar. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! then headed home to make brothy garlic chicken & rice from @caitlinjesson which was the perfect dinner little by little, this new place is starting to feel a little more like home 🤍 • #fortlangley #startingover #dinnerideastiktok #dayinlife #explorebc

apparently, I really like the word “myself” 😬😂 ANYWAYS… does anyone else share this same anxiety?! please tell me I’m not alone in mentally preparing for the most basic human interactions. • #socialanxiety #startingover #vancouverbc #newcity #overthinkingeverything

the one thing about me? i’ll always find a way it might not look how i planned and i might have to start over a hundred times, but i’ll never stop betting on myself 🤍 • #bettingonyou #startingover #newbeginning #trustingyourself #newchapter

spend thanksgiving weekend with me on salt spring island 🌊🤍 it’s been a week since i packed up my entire life and moved to bc + to say it’s been a ride would be an understatement so, a weekend of slowing down, exploring somewhere new, spending time with family and soaking up a little west coast magic was exactly what i needed ✨✨ - we enjoyed our morning coffee @saltspringcafeandkitchen - did some local shopping around town @Folk Stock and Trade - visited lavender fields @sacredmountainlavender - drank beer + ate hotdogs @saltspringbrewery - visited ALL the farm stands + got ALL the goods @saltspringislandkombucha - loaded up on all the jams + cheeses @saltspringkitchenco - got THEEEE best best salad + gf/df treats @woodshedprovisions still figuring out this whole starting-over thing, but weekends like this make me feel like i’m exactly where i’m supposed to be 🤍 • #thanksgivingweekend #westcoastliving #explorevancouverisland #startingover #saltspringisland

apparently the plot needed a twist… I don’t know exactly how this chapter unfolds but something tells me it’s going to be a good one! and the thing is, you don’t need to have everything figured out to believe you’re heading in the right direction. sometimes it’s just a feeling + that’s enough. • #startingoveragain #personalgrowthjourney #trustingyourself #beginagain #vancouverisland

well… after moving my entire life across two provinces and basically becoming one with the couch, I finally left the house. first stop? salt spring island for thanksgiving. not a bad way to start this new chapter. @BC Ferries @ciderworks @mobyspub • #saltspringisland #thanksgivingweekend #vancouverisland #startingover #relatableaf

Apparently we’re starting over at 36 with no real plan of what’s to come next. Just me, an unreasonable amount of Diet Coke and a one way trip west.
