The best of Ottessa Moshfegh (in my opinion) | I was really considering ranking all of her fiction but thought that would be too much to pack into one video lol Books discussed: -Eileen -Homesick For Another World #booktok #bookish #ottessamoshfegh #myyearofrestandrelaxation #weirdgirllit

What do you guys think?🤓(please excuse my morning voice) #bookish #flowertok #floralarrangements #interiors #bookshelfstyling

Some strange book recommendations Every single one of these books either disgusted me, shocked me, or confused me deeply. Either way, 10/10 don’t regret any of these reads. Happy women in translation month! I’ve talked about some of these books so many times on here lol #bookish #bookrecs #womenintranslation #bookreviews #booktok

I can’t emphasize enough how much I do not recommend this book. If you do try reading it, please do your research into trigger warnings. One thing I wanted to elaborate on but knew would take too long to explain was the theme of youth. Youth not just in the way Celeste desires it in her love life, but in the conventional beauty she aspires to have. Everything she does in an effort to keep her ‘young’ which she is aware, keeps her ‘beautiful.’ It is as much a part of who she wants to be as much as it is a part of what she wants her partner to embody and that…that is truly terrifying to think about. Book discussed: -Tampa by Alissa Nutting #booktok #bookish #horror #horrornovel #bookreview

I noticed I got some fragrance people following me so, hello! Book content will continue, I just haven’t read anything I really want to talk about as of late. @Commodity Fragrances @kerzon #fyp #fragrance #scenttok #perfume #summer

My favorite reads of 2026 (so far) | This is a lot of books that I’ve already talked about (some in multiple videos) but, there’s a good reason for that☝️ Books Discussed: -The Sheltering Sky by Paul Bowles -Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh -The Emissary by Yoko Tawada -Taiwan Travelgoue by Yang Shuang-Zi -She Who Remains by Rene Karabash #booktok #bookreviews #bookish #bookrecs #topbooks

Not like my regularly scheduled content but I felt the need to make this video lol. Also ironically I’m pretty sure @Diptyque has its own proper mosquito repellent. What do we think about this? I do love me some citronella ngl… #diptyque #fragrancetok #fyp #homegoods #interiorstyling

Making a floral arrangement inspired by a book and using a color I absolutely despise. (I kinda cheated by using a burgundy red but…) Book inspo: -The Lamb by Lucy Rose #floristry #floralarrangement #bookish #florist #thelamb

Deep dive: The story behind the Stargazer lily To be honest I’m not much of a nonfiction reader but this is a book that I absolutely loved reading. Maybe I should read more nonfiction…🤔 #booktok #bookish #deepdive #florist #lily

Replying to @northwest_reads This is probably going to be the last Modelland video for now. If I were to make another video, it would probs be a full 30 minute to hour long breakdown of the whole plot and everything. Thanks everyone for all the support! It’s been surreal🥲 #booktok #bookish #modelland #tyrabanks #bookreview

Mind you, this BARELY scratches the surface of this book. There are sacrificial prophecies, women with roller skates for legs, cats with tetanus laced claws and so much more🫠 LOL Book Discussed: -Modelland by Tyra Banks #booktok #bookish #modelland #tyrabanks #bookreview

I felt it was important to talk about the less ‘mainstream’ queer literature that’s out there for pride. These stories are not for everyone and are incredibly triggering. Though I don’t necessarily ‘like’ his writing, I have come to appreciate it within the greater context of why Cooper wrote these stories and the realities they reveal of the queer experience throughout the AID’s epidemic and before. Books Discussed: -Frisk by Dennis Cooper -Closer by Dennis Cooper -Try by Dennis Cooper -Guide by Dennis Cooper -Period by Dennis Cooper -I Wished by Dennis Cooper #booktok #splatterpunk #queerhorrorbooks #bookish #denniscooper

One day the Orpheon edt will be mine… Books Discussed: -Abigail by Magda Szabo -Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel Defoe -Strangers on a Train by Patricia Highsmith @Diptyque @cammyreviews #booktok #fragrancetok #vlog #bookish #bookshopping

Another good reading month🤓 (ignore the flakes on my jacket. I was working with flowers earlier😔) Books Discussed: -McGlue by Ottessa Moshfegh -Botchan by Natsume Soseki -The Hour of The Star by Clarice Lispector -She Who Remains by Rene Karabash -The Emissary by Yoko Tawada #booktok #bookish #readingwrapped #litfic #bookrecommendation

I know she came out with a statement after the fact trying to amend what she said but…idk you guys | I will also say, I used the word ‘excusable’ rather than ethical or moral because I don’t think you can ‘ethically’ use AI #booktok #deepdive #bookish #booknews #olgatokarczuk

This was overall a really good year for the Booker! What were your favorite nominees this year? I wanna clarify, when I say ‘true winner’ I refer to the book that had seemed to get the most readers talking. None of the books were ‘better’ than each other, Taiwan Travelogue deserved the win in the end, this is all just based off my personal observations, and this video is meant to recommend another incredible book🙂‍↕️ Books Discussed: She Who Remains by Rene Karabash #booktok #bookish #litfic #bookreview #bookerprize

Making arrangements for leisure is always so much fun🙂‍↕️. This was a tad bit intimidating but I’m really happy with how this turned out! #fyp #floristry #orchids #florist #flowerarrangement
