I use strobes a lot, and I like to mix it with ambient light. This means I’m always checking for my ambient exposure in between shots just to ensure I have full control of my lighting. I used to turn off the trigger or remove it from the hotshoe which slowed down my process. This one-button hack is a huge time saver. Did you know about this already?

Post processing is an essential part of the photography process, at least for me. I can spend a few hours shooting and spend days on post processing. Here are a few tools I’ve been using every single day. 🤗 Adobe Photoshop - Kinda obvious, but I feel Photoshop gives you so much control compared to Lightroom. If you really want to make intricate adjustments with all the control at your finger tips, PS is the app to use. 🤯 Workphlo Actions - I created these actions myself because I wanted to be able to work faster. Additionally I wanted a system or a process I could replicate over and over again to make sure I’m consistent and not skipping steps. This action gave me that and I use it everyday. 🙌🏿 link in bio 🔥 🤩 Melanin Skintone Luts - I’m in Africa surrounded by beautiful darkskin. I’ve always been wondering how to enhance darkskin and make them pop in my images. I found some colouring techniques I used often and turned them into Luts to save time. 🙌🏿 link in bio 🔥 😎 Retouch4Me - I got this a few years ago and I’ve integrated it into my work process. When I mix it up with my workphlo actions, I’m able to work even faster. 😡 Wacom Tablet - if you’re team mouse, you’re just a sucker for hard labor 🤭 It’s not hard to use, spend a few hours with it and you’ll improve your hand-eye coordination. You’ll wonder why you ever used a mouse to edit. 🤢
