Now, we want to hear from you too! How much do you think is enough? Drop your thoughts in the comment section. Let’s talk about it! #RemoteWorkHER #KeepingUpWithRemoteWorkHER #RaenestExchange2026 #CostOfLivingInLagos #WomenAndMoney

Honestly, we’re still taking in the turnout from yesterday’s Career Clinic! We came prepared for a regular Career Clinic, but when we saw how many people showed up, we had to turn it into a Q&A session. And oh my God, the questions, the conversations, the different career concerns people brought to us. We got to answer so many questions, offer guidance, and help people think through their next career steps. It was such a beautiful thing to witness, and we’re genuinely grateful to everyone who showed up, asked questions, and trusted us enough to share their concerns. We’re also looking forward to hearing from those who will reach out to us on social media. Sometimes, you don’t realise the kind of community you’re building until moments like this. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, you’re all part of what Remote WorkHER is becoming, and we appreciate every single one of you. A special thank you to @genzhr for showing up at the last minute to support us and give back to our community. You’ve been such a solid supporter of our brand, and we don’t take it for granted. And thank you so much, @Raenest (formerly Geegpay) for hosting us at Raenest Exchange. We truly appreciate you! Thank you for showing up for us. We can’t wait to do this again! #RemoteWorkHER #CareerClinic #CareerGrowth #CareerDevelopment #raenestexchange2026

We loved every moment of connecting with you, answering your questions, and helping you gain more clarity in your career journeys. Thank you for always coming through for us and being part of what we’re building. We never take your support for granted, and we can’t wait to keep creating more opportunities for you. Happy 2nd Birthday, Remote WorkHER! 🥹💗 Two years. Just two years of building, learning, figuring things out, taking risks, growing and when we look back at everything we’ve been able to accomplish, we honestly can’t help but feel grateful. In two years, we’ve gotten our own office space. We’ve had amazing people work with us and alongside us. We launched our very own platform. We took Remote WorkHER to Qatar to exhibit our business. We’ve hosted events and career clinics. We’ve built a community of amazing ambassadors. We’ve had incredible brands believe in our vision and choose to work with us. And, most importantly, we’ve had women continuously reach out to tell us how Remote WorkHER has helped them in their career journey. And we don’t take any of it for granted. We’re still a baby company. Just two years old. Yet somehow, we’ve already experienced so many moments we’re incredibly proud of. To every girlie who has followed us, supported us, attended our events, shared our content, used our products, recommended us, worked with us, or simply believed in what we’re building thank you. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for growing with us. Thank you for giving Remote WorkHER a place in your career journey. We’re so proud of what we’ve built, but we’re even more excited about what’s ahead. Happy 2nd Birthday to us. 💗 Here’s to two years of Remote WorkHER and many, many more.

Replying to @Oyin The fact that a job is remote doesn’t mean you don’t need skills. Think about it this way: why would a company pay you if you’re not bringing something valuable to the table? When a company hires you, they’re essentially paying for your service and that service is built around a skill you have. Whether it’s customer service, project management, social media management, writing, sales, design, data analysis, virtual assistance or something else, there has to be something you can do that solves a problem for the company. And if you’re currently thinking, “But I don’t have any skills yet,” please don’t fret. You don’t need to have your entire career figured out today. What you need to do is figure out what works for you, identify a skill that aligns with your strengths and interests, and start learning. Not sure what career path or skill to explore? Click the link in our bio, join Remote WorkHER, and use our Career Explorer to discover career paths that could be a good fit for you. Everybody keeps asking: “Why don’t people want to work anymore?” I think we’re asking the wrong question. Every few months, another founder comes out to say they’re struggling to find the right people. At the same time, thousands of job seekers are wondering why they can’t get hired. So if employers can’t find talent and candidates can’t find jobs… What’s really happening? I don’t think it’s simply about people not wanting to work. I think we’re dealing with an employability gap a disconnect between what employers need, what they’re willing to offer, and what candidates are prepared to bring. And the truth is, both sides have accountability. This isn’t a video to attack founders. It’s not a video to attack job seekers either. It’s a conversation about the future of work and what both employers and employees need to do differently. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you think Nigeria has an unemployment problem, an employability problem, or something else entirely? #R#RemoteWorkHERF#FutureOfWorkE#EmployabilityC#CareerGrowthWorkplaceCulture

Replying to @Joanxx🌹 If you’ve been applying for jobs for months and hearing nothing back, it might not be because there aren’t opportunities. Sometimes, it’s the small things that quietly reduce your chances before a recruiter even gets to know you. Which one have you been guilty of? 👀 Save this for your next job application and send it to someone who’s currently job hunting. #RemoteJobs #JobSearch #CareerTips #ResumeTips #InterviewPrep

Replying to @J🍒 🚨 5 Lies You MUST Tell in an Interview 🚨 Most people lose interviews not because they aren’t qualified… but because they walk in thinking it’s a confessional. Here’s the truth: an interview is a sales meeting. The product is YOU. And like every product, how you’re packaged matters as much as what’s inside. That’s why there are certain “lies” you must tell not lies that change your story, but lies that reframe your truth in a way that sells your value. Because the reality is: interviewers aren’t looking for perfect résumés. They’re looking for problem solvers, learners and people who know how to position themselves as an asset. So the next time you’re prepping for an interview, remember: 👉 Don’t tell the unfiltered story. 👉 Tell the story that highlights your ambition, adaptability, self-awareness, and alignment. That’s how you win the room.
