Today, God reminded me that prayers are never wasted. 🤍 After weeks of waiting, worrying, and praying, we finally heard the words we've been hoping for: 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙣. 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧. 🙏 Yes, lumaki ang prostate ni Papa, but it's something that naturally happens as men age. No medication for now, just regular monitoring. More than anything, hearing the doctor say, “𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙭 𝙠𝙖 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙮, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙠𝙖𝙮. 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙!" felt like God answering every prayer we whispered. Watch his video. This was taken from his last check-up. I asked Papa, “𝘈𝘯𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘮𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘯?" His answer was simple, yet full of wisdom. ❤️ I hope his words remind you that good health, peace of mind, and the lessons from our parents are treasures we should never take for granted. The best decision I ever made? ✨ Yung hindi ko hinayaang matalo ako ng takot. There were so many moments na hindi ako 100% ready, pero pinili kong mag-take ng risk at subukan yung opportunities na dumating sa buhay ko. Looking back, those "yes" moments changed everything.
