Is This Guy Taking A Vacation

they call this guy the Walker because people swear he travels every time he drives to the basket but here's the crazy part he's actually not traveling watch closely he starts with a between the legs dribble then hits the sham god his hand is still on top of the ball so the ball is still live he hasn't gathered it yet the moment he gains control that becomes his gather also called the zero step then he fakes left and takes his first step that foot becomes his pivot foot he pump fakes then steps through with his left foot for his second step and finishes the layup that's two steps after the gather so the entire move is completely legal the reason people think he traveled is simple they're counting the gather step as step one but under the rules it isn't so before calling him the walker watch the gather watch the pivot and count the steps correctly you might realize he never traveled at all
