𝟵𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 '𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱' 𝗯𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲 ⭐️ During the summer, over 9,000 Rockies came together across the UK and Ireland for 19 very special Rock Choir Summer Sessions! And now, we're so excited to share the result! 🤩 Led by our brilliant Choir Leaders, our members gathered in beautiful local venues to learn a unique arrangement of the powerful anthem 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 by Nina Simone. With its roots in the civil rights movement of the 1960s, the song carries a message of resilience, pride and freedom, brought to life by thousands of voices singing together. Accompanied by our Choir Leaders on piano, each session was also an opportunity to enjoy some acoustic versions of our much-loved Rock Choir repertoire, making the most of the incredible acoustics in each venue. This special video brings together all 19 Summer Sessions, uniting the voices of over 9,000 Rockies in one unforgettable performance of Feeling Good. We couldn't be prouder of every single member who took part. ❤️ #RockChoir #FeelingGood #RockChoirSummerSessions #NinaSimone

𝗕𝗢𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 - 𝗪𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗜𝗧! 🤩 We made Rock Choir history at Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall! 🌊 After five incredible years of performing across the festival site, 120 Rockies stepped onto the Boardmasters Main Stage for the very first time - the same stage welcoming huge names including Lily Allen, Fatboy Slim and Kasabian. And what a moment it was. ❤️ Across five days, around 400 Rock Choir Members aged 13–83 from Falmouth, Helston, Penzance, St Austell, Saltash, Truro and Wadebridge brought the Rock Choir energy to Boardmasters - with performances, audience singalongs and, of course, a few legendary conga moments along the way! For 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗲, the Main Stage had been a dream five years in the making: “Five years ago, the main stage felt like a dream. This weekend, 120 of us stood on it together. I don't think any of us will ever forget it.” From Sweet Child O’ Mine and Shallow to Don’t Stop Me Now, our Rockies gave it everything and made memories that will last a lifetime. What a weekend. What a community. What a moment. 🥹⭐️ #RockChoir #Boardmasters #BoardmastersFestival #Cornwall #Choir #MainStage #Rockies @rockchoircornwall
