These guys saw the deer before I did 🦌🔭 2025 Broadaxe Ranch stud colts in their Summer "Paradise Pasture". Most of these are spoken for early each year, but I always try to keep a couple back for myself. I'd like to keep a couple of these, but I'll probably have to narrow it down to one to keep, and sell the other, due to my other workload of horses, ranching, etc. right now....help me decide 😄 #MaybeForSale ?🙃🤔 #TuffToBeHiClass #KeepItClassy #LittleCatstep #PurrrtyBabies

After quite a few years of doing this, there's nothing cooler than weaning a few hundred head of calves on grass before dinner, ans going back to watch them grazing by Suppertime. A few tips & tricks make this work best, but good genetics, good herdsmanship and handling, good water, and good nutrition make this a game-changer in terms of overall stress reduction, herd health, feed conversion and gain, and everybody still smiling when you're done....lol 🤣 #BroadaxeRanch #PastureWeaning #Vitaferm #StressTubs #MOS

#FlashbackFun to a couple years ago when Gentry was getting in on some "rodeo" action like her older sister....sure, we can pull the ribbon off the tail, but let's flank it and tie it too...lol

Playing around with "Rocker" aka "Rockin All Three" (2yr old stallion in training for Thomas Ranch Performance Horses) during one of our Annual South Dakota State Fair Horsemanship demonstrations about 3 weeks ago or so. He was in the very beginning stages of transition back and forth between the O-ring and the bridle, so was working him through the different contact points, and helping him find the "bubble" . He's been doing awesome here at the ranch, is in the bridle nicely now, and doing great things as we near him being showcased on the Pink Buckle Sale : October 7th at the Lazy E Arena (Guthrie, Oklahoma) #RockinAllThree #ThomasRanchPerformanceHorses #PinkBuckleSale #RodneyYostHorsemanship #PuttingThePedigreeToWork
