Built out a shelter for cookie so he can go inside when it rains and attached all his stall panels to it so his has a bigger space. Feels so good to be so exhausted. Happy Halloween! Cookie is getting himself ready to pass out candy to the kids when we do our nightly walk! I don’t ever get to stay home and pass out candy so we are going to visit all our neighborhood littles and bring the candy and costumes to them the month of October! Anything to see the babies smile! They fill my cup and my kids absolutely love sharing cookie with their friends! It’s a blessed life

When im with him all i can think about is “If we only knew how blessed we would be! To know 5 year old me would one day be able to love you!” I’m always going to be 5 years old on that cute little white pony my mom hired to come to the house to take photos with us….. Because your girl can manifest some stuff out of the trash! 30 minutes before finding this patio set my broke ass called my mom when I was at Lowe’s telling her I need to hustle harder because My short little legs need specific patio furniture. Low to the ground and deep so I can put my feet up. That drink your coffee and read the Bible kind of comfortable patio furniture. Headed to harbor freight to return something and would you believe the exact style I was looking at Lowe’s was in the back of a “u call we haul” truck?!? To sweeten the deal all the cushions are in the same cream line white my bedding is and I probably would have picked white even though I’m the dirtiest girl I know! At Lowe’s just the one couch was $1300! So I tossed some fabric I had left over from a job I did 5 years ago that was taking up space on the bottom cushions so my dirty ass can sit down freely and it just so happens to match the outside of my trailer lol everything else was either free or I dug it out of the trash! 😝 manifesting like a boss! Turning a house into a home doesn’t have to cost a penny! You just have to be willing to do the heavy lifting!

Have you met my dragon? We didn’t come to fight but if you see this face you might want to turn and walk away! He is a baby fire breathing dragon and he feeds off of my energy….I may be silent and controlled but guarante i will dictate his reaction and adjust my energy accordingly. I control my energy to control his BECAUSE of yours…. Most people can’t see the power of energy until we breath fire because the world is only focused on obtaining the power and control by force! Lead by example. Positive or negative you are the keeper of attraction… positive always attracts positive and negative always attracts negativity!

I take a million videos and photos because I know we are going to be best friends for the rest of your life and one day I’ll make this walk alone. The days I couldn’t see past tomorrow I would lay in bed watching our videos reminding myself it was just a moment in time and my body just needed to heal. The guilt I felt because I couldn’t come see you everyday and get you out was gut wrenching because I knew you didn’t understand. One day we were riding and the next we were both hurt and I was gone. When I lay down at night, you are the reel I rewatch! It’s nothing special or anything the world would even find interesting. It’s just you and I sharing space. Doing chores….And you’re always right next to me or (on top of me while I’m trying to work or build something). I measure my success in life on the smiles on kids faces! You have no idea how completely blessed and lucky I am to be part of so many wonderful programs and organizations! My heart explodes every time I get to the ranch and I hear a little one from across the way scream my name and say “Hi MENDY! Can I come help?” Or “What are you doing?” God blessed me with 4 babies of my own but there is not a babe in this would I don’t love like my own so it fills my cup I get the opportunity to teach and inspire and just give them my time and energy.

Some days I just need THEM! I just need their love and to be in my space! I need them to take up all of my space some days because my soul would be completely lost without them! They have no idea how much I need them on these days and how they instantly fix everything that felt so off and wrong that day. Im learning how to be okay with having “normal” days. Quiet days…. Days that aren’t bad but also not good is called “normal” and it IS OKAY for me to have NORMAL days! Normal is hard to process for someone like me but I’m learning. I don’t need to go go go 24/7 just to be valid or for the world to see my worth. I’m still worthy even on the days I’m exhausted and just need to let my body reset and sleep. Reprogramming my brain so these babies learn by example and don’t inherit all the negative things I do that seem positive on the out side. One year in reverse! It’s still a journey and road to recovery….but to see all I have accomplished is still pretty f’ing insane! Can you imagine if I wasn’t broken and what I could have done to rebuild myself??? I couldn’t either! I try to focus on my gratitude and all the blessing along the way this last year and not my anger for what was not an accident that has flipped my life upside down in ways you can’t imagine because I still know how truly blessed I am to be alive and to have accomplished so much while being broken. I pray I never know pain like this again though. Cause Jesus knows it sucks! and after a year of enduring it I’m ready to have a few days here and there without hurting so bad I can barely walk at the end of the way.Ill continue to pray for recovery and forgiveness for those who caused this. A year of healing feels like a life time but also not quick enough!

When I say, give me your burdens because I will shoulder them for you so you do not have to carry that weight around d alone, I meant it! I love this horse more than anyone will ever know! When my babies are struggling my first thought is, “to the horses we must go!” Cook has a greater purpose in this life and it’s to be the man who holds us up when we feel weak! The man who absorbs the chaos and holds space for us when we just need to feel safe so we can cry it out! He is the man we run to so we can decompress and let it all go, but this photo right here is probably the most beautiful example of love and sitting in silence and sharing space with my child and cook so she can release and feel safe! How blessed am I that she would lay her burdens upon my shoulders and cry it out so I/we may carry them for her. How blessed am I that she would be so comfortable to let all the stress and anxiety go and transfer what she needed to in this moment on to us! And how blessed am I that she would reach for me so she could take from my energy to recharge her own! I’m not a perfect mom and everyday I try to be better then I was the day before, but yesterday I was the best mom I have ever been! The mom I strive to always be! The one who holds space with strength and compassion, unconditional love and understanding, allowing my child to let it all go on to my shoulders and take what she needed from me so she could refill her own cup! Yesterday I was winning! Being a mom is my greatest accomplishment in life but this right here is always the goal! And cook, what Ana amazing soul this man has! He just stood there the whole time checking in when he would hear her and feel her. He patiently waited for her to let it all go and he was happy to absorb it as well! I could feel his concern for her while she was processing which was absolutely beautiful all in its self! He shoulder the burdens of so many and is happy to do so…
