We have some disappointing news to share ahead of tonight’s event. Due to an unexpected shipping delay, a portion of our commemorative 5K medals and all Family Walk pins have not arrived in time for tonight’s celebration. But don’t worry, everyone will receive their commemorative keepsake! 🏅 5K RUNNERS: We will distribute as many medals as we have available tonight. If you receive a medal, our team will record your bib number. If you don’t receive one tonight, we will mail it to you as soon as the remaining shipment arrives. 💀 FAMILY WALK PARTICIPANTS: All commemorative pins will be mailed once they arrive. Items will be shipped to the mailing address provided during registration. If multiple participants were registered together, their items will be shipped to the address provided by the person who completed the registration. After the race, you can place your bib at the community altar at La Gloria Pearl, where it will remain through Día de Muertos weekend. 💀 WHAT TO WEAR Wear your calavera-inspired outfit for the Catrina & Catrín Costume Contest, with prizes for the top Catrina and Catrín. 🏅 MEDALS Limited-edition medals go to the first 950 registered 5K participants who cross the finish line. That’s finish order, not registration order! 🕯️ MUST-DO ACTIVITIES Add your loved one’s name to the remembrance wall at the start line.
