Butterflies for Juniper 🦋 In a statement from the Blessing Family this Pride Month, they shared a message of love and a few requests for our community. One of them was to make origami butterflies and leave them in both ordinary and unexpected places, just as Juniper did. Stop by a butterfly folding station at Pride in the Park this Friday and make one of your own. Take it with you. Leave it somewhere it'll be found. Live fully, as exactly who you are. Stay kind. Stay joyful. That's what we're here to do.

Share this with someone who's coming to Seattle Pride in the Park this Saturday! We've got a full lineup of performers, DJs, and dancers, plus an incredible spread of queer vendors and community organizations all in one of Seattle's most iconic parks. Come celebrate with us! June 6, 2026 12–7PM Volunteer Park, Capitol Hill

Come see what they made at Seattle Pride in the Park on June 6th at Volunteer Park, starting at 12PM! 🌳🌈

Patti Hearn, Executive Director of Seattle Pride, breaks down what Rally means right now in this moment. It's the call to action. It's the push to keep moving forward. It's the reminder that queer and trans people are under attack and that Pride, at its core, has always been a march and a protest. We are here to fight back. Watch the full video and tell us — how do you rally? 📣 Video produced and edited by Seattle Pride Media Partner, @ConvergeMedia.

We are honored to have community activist, founder of Pride Asia, and 2014 Seattle Pride Grand Marshal, (@aleksamanila) share her voice as we kick off the 2026 Seattle Pride theme, "Rally." For Aleksa, rally shows up in every part of herself. Her identities are what fuel her drive to show up, care for community, and keep pushing forward. That kind of intersectionality is exactly what rally is all about! Watch the full video and tell us — how do you rally? 📣 Video produced and edited by Seattle Pride Media Partner, @ConvergeMedia

For @Jennifer Barnes, CEO and Founder of @Rough & Tumble, Rally starts with belonging. As the founder of the first place in the world where women’s sports are prioritized as much as men’s, Jen has built something rare. It’s become a true safe haven for trans and queer sports fans where every game is for all of us. We’re proud to have Jen’s voice as part of Seattle Pride 2026. Watch the full video, then tell us — how do you rally? 📣 Video produced and edited by Seattle Pride Media Partner, @ConvergeMedia

For Deaunte Damper (@deaunte11), Rally calls him back to the moments that have defined us — from the Stonewall Riots and the AIDS crisis, to the ongoing fight for immigrant communities, trans communities, and all of us. Rally is what it looks like when we show up. When our voices and actions become something bigger than ourselves. Deaunte is one of the community voices helping us kick off Seattle Pride 2026, and his perspective on what Rally means is exactly the kind of energy we're bringing into this season. Watch the full video, then drop it in the comments, how do you rally? 📣 Video produced and edited by Seattle Pride Media Partner, @ConvergeMedia

For CJ Jackson, Goaltender for the @Seattle Torrent, Rally is about being a light. Owning who you are so fully and so freely that it gives others permission to do the same. That kind of authenticity celebrates you and creates space for everyone around you to feel seen and celebrated too. CJ is one of the voices helping us launch Seattle Pride 2026, and their take on Rally is exactly the kind of energy this season is built on. Trans Advocacy Day is always a powerful moment where we bring real stories into spaces where our voices are often erased or overlooked. Being able to speak directly to elected officials about the policies impacting all of us is so important and humanizes these bills and our existence. If you didn’t know, now you know! Beneath the Streets does monthly Queer History Tours that are both educational and entertaining! You’ll get to learn about the roots of Seattle’s queer culture that took place above and below ground. Grab your tickets ASAP and let’s celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month!

Celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month in our own community! Do you know about the queer history in Pioneer Square? This is just a snippet into the expansive history that runs beneath these streets, literally. Prior to the 70s, queer nightlife and culture were confined to underground establishments where police had to be routinely paid off to look the other way. It was a system that was flawed but allowed for queer culture, organizing, and community to bloom. More historical data can be found at OutHistory.org, SeattlePride.org/timeline and Beneath the Streers Queer History Tour
