The next chapter | preparing to rent our flat out 🥹🫶 Wow. The last three years have honestly been incredible. We completely transformed our flat into somewhere that truly feels like home - and that means so much to us 🤍 (wipes tears away 🥹) When we bought the flat, we always hoped that one day we’d be able to keep it as an investment, and we’re so lucky that we’re now in a position to do that. Feeling very grateful for all of our hard work over the last three years - it’s definitely paid off 🤍 This home will always have such a special place in our hearts, especially because it’s our first home together and the home we brought Murphy home to! We have loved every minute of living here, and watching Murphy enjoy the garden is by far the highlight of it all 🤍 So… introducing the Reno to Rental series! 🏡✨ We’ve been quietly preparing to rent our flat out behind the scenes over the last few weeks, and we’ve documented it all for this new series! If you’ve been here for the journey, thank you so much for all the love and support through the reno highs and lows (who knew custard creams would bring us so much trauma 🤣) We can’t wait for this next chapter, and we’d love for you to join us all over again 🤍 Lots of love, Soph, Ollie & Murphy xxx

So Homey 2.0 is here 🥹🏡 … and she’s a BIG project!!!! So excited to share everything and start the renovation journey all over again 🤍 #newhome #homeowners #homerenovation #younghomeowners #buyingahouse

Spend the evening with me while I update you on the current living arrangements 👀 #livinginareno #renovationproject #homereno #buyingahouse #homerenovation

How has it been 2 months already?! 🤯 2 weeks of living in our renovation project and we are surviving (just 🥴) It’s been a long week of prepping walls for @ironman.stan and a lot of hard decisions were made by mwah! #renovationproject #homerenovation #homereno #renovation #livinginareno

Sometimes you need to stop to look back at the life you’ve created 🫶 P.s. Making this our little tradition 🪟💃🏼 #renovationproject #homerenovation #relationship #dogparents #buyingahouse

Reno to Rental | Part 6 The day has arrived to empty and clean our flat for the new tenants 🥹 A big thank you to @davidrickettsestateagents for making the whole process so smooth and stress free for us ⭐️ Highly recommend if you’re looking for an estate agent in the Cardiff area. #homerenovation #renovationproject #rentingourhome #homeowners #landlordlife

How we’re prepping the walls ready to paint after removing the wallpaper! step 1: Apply @Zinsser UK Gardz on the walls step 2: Fill the holes with filler and skim any rough areas step 3: sand the walls #wallpaperremoval #homereno #renovationproject #decoratingtips #paintingwalls

I screamed when I saw this under the carpet underlay… 🫪 But luckily the lino is laid on TOP of floorboards 😅 #homerenovation #renovationproject #renovationfinds #homeowners #homereno

We’ve just moved into our new home so it’s about time we re-introduced ourselves! ⭐️ Back in December 2023, we bought our first home and documented the whole renovation journey online! This actually opened the door for me, within a few months of being in our first home I quit my 9-5 to go all in on Content Creation / SMM! Ollie works in the property sector so all of this comes very naturally to him and I guess we make the perfect team with my creativeness and his knowledge on all things property! I’m not sure what practical elememts Murphy brings to the table but he definitely keeps a smile on our face after long days working on the house!! If you like following along with home renovations then come and say hiiiiii 🤍 We’d love for you to join us!! #homerenovation #homereno #reintroducingmyself #renovationproject #younghomeowners

One of us had far too much fun doing this while the other didn’t 😅 Might I add.. all of this is his idea x #homereno #renovationproject #renovation #renovationreality #livinginareno

@SofaClubUK have arrived in Cardiff!! 🛋️ The most aesthetically pleasing store I think I have ever stepped foot in.. the sofa’s play a huge part in this! We got our Bloomsbury Sofa back in January and we absolutely love it, there is not one bad thing we could say about it! Sofa shopping is the best kind of shopping so we’re very excited to come back to choose our new sofa for the open plan living area… I think I’ve already decided 👀 #sofaclub #sofashopping #cardiffshopping #homerenovation #homewarestore

Week 7 with the keys to our new home and we’ve officially moved in! 🔑⭐️👀 It’s been a crazy week of moving our things over to the new house and organising SO much stuff (how on earth did we accumulate this much from a 2-bed flat?!) We’ve settled into our temporary living arrangements before we start decorating and distributing our things between the upstairs rooms! #homerenovation #renovationproject #homeowners #livinginareno #buyingahouse

How has it been another week?! Five weeks with the keys and we have spent most of the week packing up our flat ready to MOVE IN 🫪!!! #homerenovation #renovationproject #homereno #homeowners #movinghouse

It’s time to say goodbye to our first home 🥹 We technically started this video on the day we got the keys to our first home. Nearly 3 years later, we’re finishing it in the exact same place… 🏡🫶 Our happy place is soon to be someone else’s, and while it’s definitely bittersweet, we can’t wait for the next chapter - creating another beautiful home for us all to love just as much! #homerenovation #firsthome #firsthomebuyers #renovatingahouse #movinghouse
