Flowstar (@spinflowstar)

When I came to Bali 3 years ago the local economy was in a depression due to the covid lockdown restrictions. There wasn’t many job opportunities but I worked with a small team of local seamstresses to create FlowStars. They have forever been grateful for the job and opportunities provided. In the last 3 years we’ve sustainably grown the production from 25-50 stars a month to 900+ stars a month. While scaling the business I’ve never wanted to lose the intention behind FlowStar and the mission. I’ll never mass produce in a factory and will always be connected to the team who handmakes each FlowStar with the beautiful Bali energy in every stitch. We are one big happy family, the FlowStar family 🌀💜✨ big shoutout to all the flowmies who have supported this business and supported the FlowStar team, none of this is possible without y’all 🥰 #entrepreneur #bali #ethicalproduction #flowstar #flowmies #community #spinflowstar #tiktokgrowth #grateful #gratitude

Replying to @Ryan Citron it’s boomerang season! @hails son taught me a new way to throw a boomerang during the @ALBUQUERQUE FLOWMIES meetup last week. Fun fact: I was born in Albuquerque but moved to Phx when I was 4 years old. It was great to see the FlowStar fam and the fam fam as I passed through during my roadtrip to Denver this week! Also huge shoutout to all the Abq flowmies who came out, it was so healing to flow at a meetup and be reminded of the sparkle and kindness of connecting with the flowmie community. #albuquerque #flowstar #bookerang #denver #roadtrip

To address a timeline of events. Ambassadors codes started rolling out in early March ~2nd. March 5th we were made aware of his previous actions. March 16th, ambassador code was removed following a public post. It shouldn’t have taken that long to remove this code and I once again apologize for that. Following this immediate changes & action plans were implemented as we audited our processes & escalations. We updated the community about these with our Instagram post March 20th. We’ve had success with our new processes and we appreciate the patience and support as we navigate through these difficult situations. We don’t support abusers, we care deeply for the safety of the community, and I’m actively working with flowmies in the community to curate a safe place for everybody. We are deeply sorry to those we have let down and I hope this can help restore peace.
