Today, October 9, 2026, I officially hang up my uniform and begin a new chapter as a retired United States Army Sergeant. 🇺🇸🫡 On July 11, 2018, I began a journey that would become eight years, two months, and 28 days of service. From COVID missions, to a deployment, and earning my stripes as a Sergeant, this journey gave me experiences and friendships I’ll carry forever.❤️ The Army also helped me build a foundation for my future. I paid off my car, purchased my 1st home, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. Now, I’m working toward my second degree in cybersecurity. Every one of those accomplishments took work, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come.📜🏡🚗 I truly enjoyed my time in uniform..the laughs, the friendships, the lessons, and even the challenges that helped me grow. To everyone I served with, learned from, and leaned on along the way, thank you. You’ll always be part of my story.🤞🏾 At 31, I’m blessed to step into retirement with my future secured and the support I earned through my service. I thank God for carrying me through these eight years and allowing me to enjoy what I worked so hard to build.🙏🏾 I joined at 23 with goals and a lot to learn.
