Complications from scar tissue have hit me out of nowhere multiple times in my life as someone with a history of severe Crohn’s disease and 6 past abdominal surgeries🥴 Thankfully the pain improved after resting my belly (nothing to eat or drink for 36 hours) and was able to tolerate clear liquids enough to be able to travel home. Started slowly eating very safe foods today and feeling unsure if it’s going to come back as I’ve had some distension and pain. HATE rescheduling my clinic patients😭 but know there’s no choice when things are this bad. Praying I’ll be back up and running soon, but thankful I’m home where there are specialists to take care of me if surgery becomes inevitable. #ostomy #crohns #ibd #obstruction #chronicillness
