Gerry is sharing a piece of hers with us in hopes of creating more understanding around the experiences we carry quietly and the importance of leading with empathy. In 2018, while navigating postpartum symptoms and early motherhood, Gerry was diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension and congestive heart failure after being hospitalized in severe heart failure.
