This past September 26th, I had the honor of being part of the United Nations Association’s Girls & Women Advancement Summit, hosted in support of SDG 5: Gender Equality. I’m so grateful to Mehek Kaur Saini, Meghana Gadde, Avalyn Pace, president of the UNA-USA Dallas Chapter (@unausadallas), and everyone who contributed to the event’s success, for having me as a youth mentor on domestic violence, harassment, and cyberbullying toward women; period poverty; and women’s mental health. I met the most impressive and amazing young women. We enjoyed engaging discussions, meaningful connections, and opportunities to build confidence, leadership, and agency. We watched a powerful presentation by Sophia Alicea, 15th UNA-USA Youth Observer to the United Nations, and a performance by Cadence Diggs, the 2026 Youth Poet Laureate for the City of Dallas. I am so proud of our youth and the solutions they propose to transform the future.

It’s officially #HispanicHeritageMonth; it’s the perfect time to share this recap of the bilingual Instagram Screen Smart Event in Miami, Florida, where I spoke a few weeks ago. As a Certified Human Rights Consultant, I was excited to bring the girlies to the Human Rights Community Fair, celebrating community-driven collaboration through action, art, and education at the Dallas Public Library. Human Rights Dallas spearheaded this initiative, and we had the honor of hearing from Elisa O’Callaghan, Hadi Jawad, and Dr. Rick Halperin, as well as other amazing keynote speakers, including the City of Richardson mayor and the Consulate of Mexico in Dallas. Last week, we were invited to the Netflix House Dallas Family Night at Galleria Dallas to celebrate the start of summer (and end of the school year).  We enjoyed exploring @netflixhouse, spending time at RePLAY, enjoying dinner at Netflix BITES, and participating in the SQUID GAME: SURVIVE THE TRIALS. Netflix House offers delicious food, exciting experiences, and a fan-favorite atmosphere (especially if you love to shop). We love everything #KPopDemonHunters, and it was #KPDH heaven! As I usually do, I kept everything a surprise, and they tried to guess. My response: "We're going to do something you'll never forget."
