February was truly a month of love for us! We connected with a lot of old and new friends and partners. Here's exactly what we got up to this month! 🥟 We kicked things off at Dim Sum Library’s venue showcase for a team night out, sampling unique dim sum and soaking up the vibes of their stunning new space. 🍝 It was pasta and plenty of travel chat with Avenue Sales at Cichetti... because the best conversations always happen over a plate of delicious carbs! 🏝️ Mika jetted off on an educational escape to Tenerife in the Canary Islands, with a huge thank you to Hotel Republic and Palladium Group for an incredible two-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife. Research trips are very serious business… obviously. 🌎 Back in London, we caught up with Small Luxury Hotels of the World from the beautiful bar at Oriole, discovering exquisite properties across the globe. ☀️ We also headed to the Summer Events Show, meeting brilliant new suppliers and shooting content for our client Barz8 (as well as tasting their amazing cocktails!) ✏️ Next, we went to the Event Production Show, where Jon joined a panel of agency leaders who talked about balancing clients' expectations in creativity and ROI. February was a blast, but now we’re looking ahead to March... our birthday month! We asked our Director Jon to share his top tips for flawless event production 🎪✨ Here's what our live events superstar had to say: 1️⃣ Think in moments, not minutes Run sheets are important, but what people remember are moments. Plan the emotional highs and lows, not just the timings, and the schedule will take care of itself. 2️⃣ If it looks easy, you’ve done it right The more complex the production, the calmer it should feel on the surface. When guests say “that just worked,” that’s the real compliment. 3️⃣ Always have a Plan B… and a Plan C Live events have a sense of humour. Redundancy, backups, and a cool head will save the day far more often than perfection ever will! 4️⃣ Treat your suppliers like teammates, not vendors When everyone feels ownership, people go the extra mile. The best shows happen when the whole crew is pulling in the same direction, where people feel valued, cared for and have a sense of shared purpose in the event. 5️⃣ Give people a story to tell tomorrow One unexpected moment, a reveal, a transition, a surprise. It's Day 18 of Gohomas, and it's time to give back. We're spotlighting Capital City College Group! 🧑‍🍳🏫 Capital City College Group is London's largest further education provider, consisting of three major colleges in the city. We've been working with them to spread awareness of the event spaces and studios, which are available to be booked by the public. Profits are reinvested back into the training of their students. We took our partnership to the next level, by hosting our client Christmas party in The Vincent Rooms, a restaurant staffed by the culinary and hospitality students of Capital City College Group. We had an amazing three-course festive meal, learned about the venue, and made some amazing connections! Our clients left with some Christmas goodies from the restaurant, and a donation on their behalf to 999 Club, a charity focused on ending homelessness in South East London. Another iconic month in the books! Here's what we got up to this chilly November: 🛳️ Stacey and Mel started the month off onboard the Emerald Sakura, stopping by Tangiers. Thanks so much @emeraldcruises.global for having us! 🇩🇪 Team Goho then flew to Munich to set up a huge conference at @infinitymunich. It was a huge build for us, with a spectacular stage, signage and merch, and amazing entertainment. 🇨🇭 The client event continued on, and we took their VIPs to a special outing in Lugano, Switzerland. Highlights include their stay at the beautiful @villacastagnolalugano, custom spraypainted suitcases by the talented @boogiesml, and a boat ride and dinner at @grottodescanso. 👩‍🏫 Mika was back at Birmingham teach young students about digital marketing and events at @EY_global. 🎥 Finally, Mel and Mika worked on another amazing event at @capitalcitycollege's @mosaicatsoho. We took over a charming, family-owned brasserie and transformed it with Goho flair. It felt like we were everywhere this October! Here's a rundown of everything we got up to this month. 🇨🇭 Mel kicked things off in Switzerland, catching the final moments of M&i in Davos. 🎸 Back in London, the team rocked out at @the_hollowaysn7 gig at @dingwalls.camden. It was amazing to finally see Alfie and Bryn in action! ✏️ Mika and Ella then made a detour to Birmingham, spending an evening running a marketing and events workshop for young future marketers and events professionals at an EY outreach programme! 🇩🇪 Stacey went to Munich for some site viewings, visiting amazing venues such as Infinity Hotel and @motorworld 🍸 We were soon back aboard The Sunborn London Yacht Hotel for another unforgettable VIP event. We dressed up the venue head to toe in our client's branding. There was good food, lush cocktails, spectacular views, and a band that got everyone singing the night away. 🎭 Next, we were at @mosaicsoho for two days of venue showcases. We invited production companies and events agencies to come experience all the brilliance Mosaic has to offer (as well as an amazing charcuterie table from @fabio.kitchen). 🇫🇷 The last stop of our worldwide domination tour was Paris! Mel and Stacey transformed a family-owned French brasserie into a “Phenomenally Parisian Soirée", with amazing food, drinks and branding which got everyone on their feet and dancing! Even with chilly winds and ghost costumes (did you catch our spooky reel?), October didn’t scare us. 👻 🛳️ We ended the month onboard the Emerald Sakura, part of the amazing Emerald Cruises fleet. September was a whirlwind of creativity, connections, and full-on Goho energy. ✨ 🚠 We kicked things off with the IFS Cable Car event, followed by an IFS Executive Club event at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons on the very same day, high-flying moments, networking, and vibes that soared as high as the view. ✈️ Then Stacey was in Switzerland for site visits, scoping out venues and ideas for upcoming events (and taking in a few scenic views while she was at it). 🎨 We proudly curated @louisehowardartist's solo art exhibition at @theministry.london, celebrating our client’s incredible work and creativity in style, with proceeds from the night going to @jaidogrescue1. 🤖 We delivered a CRAZY Private Event at @sugarstudiosgreenwich. With robots, insane AV, tech wizardry, and an unforgettable atmosphere that had everyone talking. 🎉 We then threw an incredible private birthday party at @littlenansbar in Deptford which was full of fun, laughter, and celebration (Goho-style, of course). 🌍 Lastly, Mel popped over to Switzerland for the @miforums Conference, sharing Goho thinking with a global audience and picking up fresh ideas for future projects. September reminded us why we do what we do: the people, the spaces, the moments where creativity, connection, and energy collide. The works shimmered against the industrial backdrop of the old printworks and the energy carried on with music, drinks, and late-night conversations. Huge love to everyone who came through, to The Ministry for the perfect setting, and to Jai Dog Rescue, with 10% of sales heading their way to support street dogs in Thailand.
