If you're trying to think of what to do for Halloween this year and you don't wanna do the same shit everybody else is doing, I'm gonna show you three costumes you could make without having to sew anything. A voodoo doll. Now, this has been one of my favorite ones that I've done for her. I did this last minute. She was younger here. I mean, you could do it however you wanted to. Like, alter the underneath top, wear less, wear more, whatever you want to do. But it's just burlap material. You don't have to sew for this. You just cut off like a, you know, kind of like a square, but a little bit longer on the outside. And make sure it'll wrap completely around you with a little bit extra on the side down here. Because right here, you just take yarn and just. And through to make an X. It doesn't have to be good. That's the best part about this costume. Same thing for the straps that go around here. The necklace part, that's just a necklace, but you could paint that on if you wanted to save money that way. The white long sleeve shirt took the yarn and just put X's in. In certain parts. But if you don't feel comfortable doing that, you could just paint it. You get a red tutu. They have those at Walmart, like, every year. This is just a pale, like a bucket. But the Pins are just this part that I think is pretty genius. The plastic grapes that you can find anywhere, and then I painted them different colors. That's just felt. That's like 25 cents, this whole thing. Super cheap. And then yarn in the hair. Do the hair however you want. I ordered the tights. But you could also paint just, like, black knees for, like, joints and put some cracks in. Steampunk baddie. This one I am super proud of, and it was so easy to do and everything. No, so the eye mask is made out of cardboard, and then just painted to look like that. And then I just duct taped the string around, like a old, like, shoe string. And when I tell you I pull these out of my ass last minute, I mean it. The corset, I had her put, like, an old T-shirt on, and then we just shaped it with duct tape. I wish I was kidding. I'm not. Taped it to her and then cut the shirt off, because in the back, you can just cut it down. So, like, the inside of the corset is T-shirt. Then I just painted the design on the corset. Genius. I know. That's a water gun that I painted to look like a steam punk gun. The lace through the cuffs, I just cut lace, wrapped it around her wrist, then I had her put, like, a tall sock on her hand so that it Came up, and then I wrapped the duct tape around like we did with the T-shirt to make the cuffs. This train thing looks complicated. It's not. You just double up material and tuck it through until you get it the way you want it. Through a belt. We borrowed the hat, but you can find them really cheap. Death from Bill and Ted. This is a Harry Potter robe, but you could use any kind of robe. And then. That was a dress she already had, but you could get one at goodwill or something. And then you just get, like, a swim cap, and then, you know, the rest is history. We found this, I think, at Walmart, but I've seen them at the Dollar Tree, too. Then two friends dress up like Bill and Ted, and then you got something different and original instead of going as the Powerpuff Girls again.
