We’ve been at Labour conference in Liverpool, working with TransActual and Scottish Trans, to ask a question: what next for our standing on LGBTQ+ rights?

Thank you so much to the hundreds of trans people and allies who joined today's mass lobby! The queue stretched across both sides of the road outside Parliament, and so many MPs participated in meetings and responded to green cards.

Our team loved having the opportunity to team up last week with Ariana Grande's The Brighter Days Ahead Foundation and Consortium to pack and send gift bags to trans youth. In partnership with Allsorts Youth Project, @The Kite Trust , @The Proud Trust, and @Mosaic LGBT+ Trust the joy contained in these gifts are being felt by trans youth. Trans children and young people need more than slogans right now, they need solidarity and love. They need to be that there are so many people in the world who want them to thrive, including passionate allies like Ari. We're incredibly grateful for her support through the Seen and Celebrated Fund, and the Eternal Sunshine Tour. A key pillar in the fight to make things better for trans people is about sharing joy. At this moment, it's also about showing up for us. We need those that stand with us to join us on the 9th September in Parliament to meet politicians and demand a brighter future. The EHRC's Code of Practice has come into effect today. It risks serious and significant and serious harm to trans people. Something has to be done. Sign up to the Mass Lobby, we cannot accept this quietly. Read our full joint statement with Scottish Trans and TransActual on our websites.

We're concerned that the Department for Education's proposed KCSIE guidance will make school life impossible for trans+ and non binary students. We know that our community has been hit with waves of consultations but we must act to protect trans students.

In 2025, our small team, made up entirely of volunteers, have been tirelessly working to protect trans rights and ensure trans voices are heard by decision makers.
