Get Milky 1.0 was so much fun, so it's time to get the next one rolling! Get Milky 2.0 is happening right here at Cafe Moyo on Saturday the 21st of November. A few things are changing this time. The venue's a bit cosier, so we're only releasing 100 tickets. They're paid this time, but every ticket gets you a milky coffee on arrival. And we'll have Get Milky t-shirts available too. It's going to be a squeeze, so come on down for a boogie and a coffee! Tri-Milk and Mossgiel Farm present: Get Milky 2.0, at Cafe Moyo. See you there! @Mossgiel Organic Farm @Cafe MOYO Keep your eyes on when the tickets will be released!! #trimilk #mossgiel #getmilky #coffeerave #aberdeen

Get Milky 1.0 is live! It’s freezing but nothing a hot coffee and a boogie wont warm up #trimilk #lactoseintolerant #mossgiel #getmilky

The milk has landed. 🥛 Just me, a lot of trips up the stairs, and enough milk to make my flat look like a dairy warehouse. No team, no van crew, no one to hand the heavy bits to. Just doing what needs doing so tomorrow happens. Plot twist: only once it was all inside did I realise I'd over-ordered. We've got 35 litres instead of 25. So that just means more coffees to go around tomorrow. 😅 Get Milky is TOMORROW. Coffee morning rave at Third Circle. Every flat white you drink, I carried that milk up the stairs myself, so you'd better come and help me get through it. ☕️ Some of the best milk in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 from @Mossgiel Organic Farm #femalefounder #creatersearchingsight #femalefounder #smallbusiness #getmilky

When the lows are low, you still can't drop the ball. You can't afford to. Things keep happening whether you want them to or not. As much as you want time to stop so you can have a moment to yourself, that's just not how the cookie crumbles. This is the bit nobody posts. Full-time job, a brand to run, Get Milky is TOMORROW, and I'm on my bed waiting for the t-shirts and the milk to turn up. Every single piece of it is on my shoulders. When you're a solo female founder, there's no one to pass it to on the hard days. I'm not emotionally all there right now. But I'm showing up anyway, wobbly and all. 🥛 Get Milky, coffee morning rave at Scot Surf Cafe, tomorrow. Come say hi. You'll get the real version of me. ☕️ #femalefounder #SmallBusiness #creatersearchingsight #trimilk #realityofbusiness

These are the things you have to do to get the ball rolling. I’m gonna have 25 L of @Mossgiel Organic Farm milk delivered to my flat on a Friday and I need to make sure that it is stored at 3°C. But these are things that need to be done to make sure that everyone gets a fresh milky coffee on Saturday morning! #coffee #thingstodo #getmilky #CapCut

No marketing budget = shouting in the middle of Glasgow 🫠 Starting Tri-Milk with zero ad spend means I've had to get creative. Street interviews. Getting rejected in public. Making a complete fool of myself on camera. And honestly? It's working. So here's my ask: if you're lactose intolerant, or you know someone who is, send them this. Tag them. Tell them about Tri-Milk. Every share genuinely helps a tiny brand like mine get seen. 🥛 #marketingstrategy #smallbusinessuk #founderjourney #glasgow #creatersearchingsight

I bought some Bobby’s Beans! Had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with @BobbyBroon last week and now I get to try his range sod beans from home. If you’ve not already been pop down to Bobby’s Place in Glasgow at the Dockyard Social. Coffee beans: He’s dead man (Columbia, notes: honey milk and chocolate) and Did you check his pulse (Columbia single origin notes: vanilla cacao and butterscotch) #glasgow #coffee #supportingsmallbusiness #bobbybroon

Love a collab with @BeefKing Stonehaven! Putting Tri-Milk to the test with Cheesy Mac & Cheese triangles, The Mini Smash burger and of course Milkshake. After all of that no issues for me even though before Tri-Milk this would have been soo risky. Check out Beef King in Stonehaven for your next cheat meal! 🍽️ #gifted #beefking #burgers #cheese #foodie

6 days to go! Who’s ready to Get Milky?! 17th October at Scot Surf Cafe at 10am Partnered with @trimilksupplements and @Mossgiel Organic Farm #getmilky #coffee #coffeerave #aberdeen #flatwhite

The theme is CHEESE! 🧀 @CheeseBoxGlasgow serving up the best Cheese! 🫕 #cheese #glasgowfoodie #foodie#trimilk

All great foods have one common denominator; and that is cheese! 🧀 Best raclette I’ve ever had is at @CheeseBoxGlasgow and I’m only able to eat it with Tri-Milk. Fellow lactose intolerant people of Glasgow if you’ve been missing out on this place go on down and get FREE sample of Tri-Milk and have some CHEESY MAGIC TIME 💥 #trimilk #foodfreedom #cheese #glasgow #foodie

I don't have the budget to chase people with ads while they scroll. So I'm doing marketing differently. I'm not trying to catch attention. I'm trying to be there at the moment of decision. That moment is at the café counter. Someone looks at the menu and quietly rules out half of it because dairy doesn't agree with them. If a Tri-Milk sample is sitting right there, the whole menu is back on the table: the latte, the cake, the hot chocolate they'd normally skip. That's why I do coffee tours. I walk into independent cafés, order something, chat to the owner, and see whether Tri-Milk could live by their till. No ad spend. Just conversations, samples, and showing up where the choice actually gets made. ☕#creatersearchingsight #smallbusiness #coffeetour #trimilk #businessowner

Jason from @Mossgiel Organic Farm and I went to go see The internationally famous @BobbyBroon at the @Dockyard Social. Well, Bobby isn’t lactose intolerant, but maybe one of his customers are. Get yourself some Bobby’s beans with some Mossgiel milk, and if you can’t have the milk, try it with Tri-Milk 🧀💊. Match made in heaven! What a funny interaction this was 🤣 #c#creatersearchingsights#smallbusinessi#interviewb#bullsmilkc#coffee

Nobody tells you you'll get nostalgic for the boring bits. Taping boxes, writing labels, being the person at every single step. Tri-Milk's growing and I know this part won't last forever, so tonight I'm slowing down and soaking it in. If you've ordered from us, there's a good chance I packed it myself. 💛 #CapCut #creatersearchingsight #smallbusiness #reflection #slowdown

Until this week, I'd never met anyone Tri-Milk didn't work for. Then I did. After the most emotional week I've had as a founder, with families eating out together again and people telling me they finally feel normal around food, someone told me it didn't work for her. And it gutted me. This is the raw bit of owning a business that nobody posts about. You can't help everyone, and I'd rather be honest about that than sell you a dream. If Tri-Milk doesn't work for you, I've got you. Food freedom is the mission, even when the answer isn't us. 🤍 #trimilk #lactoseintolerant #honest #businessowner

🥛 GET MILKY IS HAPPENING. TICKETS ARE LIVE 🥛 We’re throwing Aberdeen’s first coffee morning rave — and you’re invited. 📅 17 October ⏰ 10am 📍 Scot Surf Café, North Don Mouth Good music. Good coffee. “How is Tri-Milk different from what’s already out there?” 🥛 I get asked this a lot. Most existing products focus on lactose alone, using the enzyme lactase. But when I was trying to understand my own triggers, I found it wasn’t just lactose — the proteins and fats in dairy could be an issue for me too. That’s why I formulated Tri-Milk with lactase, protease and lipase — enzymes that break down lactose, proteins and fats. I also wanted a meaningful amount in a single serving, rather than having to take multiple tablets to reach a comparable enzyme dose. It wasn’t about making another lactase product. I wanted to create the product I was looking for myself. 🤍 Food supplements aren’t a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. #CapCut #trimilk #lactoseintolerant #education #supplementsthatwork

And that’s a wrap! A pretty eventful day at the @ecommerce_expo at the @excellondon. I spoke to so many companies and saw what they were offering. Got a pretty good idea which direction I need to go with my business now. I knew when I entered the expose that I wasn’t in a position to actually take advantage of some of the services right now, but it was a good opportunity to see what is out there and what my next strategic steps are. Also be looking forward to a business opportunity and collaboration so keep an eye active. See what that might entail. 🙌 #startupjourney #scale #strategy #excellondon #ecommerce
