Y’all asked, so here it is 😭🫶🏾 My current hair routine + the habits that have helped me retain my length from January → now. This is just what has been working for my hair — everyone’s hair is different, so what works for me may not work for you! 🤎 The biggest thing for me has really been learning my hair, listening to what it needs, and focusing on less manipulation + breakage. #naturalhair #haircareroutine #hairgrowth #hairgoals #hairtransformation @Kitsch @Creme of Nature @Fenty Hair @Maui Moisture @Palmer's @Bask and Lather Co @Hairfinity @MaryRuth's

Residency taught me that being a good dentist isn’t about having the “perfect” treatment plan, doing everything yourself, or knowing everything immediately. Sometimes the biggest growth comes from learning to slow down, listen, and trust yourself. If you’re starting residency soon, save this one. 📝 #GPR #DentalResidency #Dentistry #DentistLife #DentalSchool

Punctuation matters more than you think—especially when your dental notes can be read by someone who wasn’t in the room. 📝🦷 Document clearly, document completely, and when in doubt… add the comma. #DentalTikTok #Dentist #Charting #Dentistry #LindsayClancy

If you’re preparing for a GPR interview or dental residency interview, don’t just prepare answers—prepare GOOD questions to ask the program. Save this for interview season and send it to someone applying to GPRs! 🦷 If you found this helpful, like, comment, and repost so another dental student can find it! 👇 #DentistTok #GPR #DentalResidency #DentalSchool

Choosing the right residency program is important, but knowing the red flags in a dental residency is just as important. 🚩 Attendings who don’t actually teach 🚩 Residents who don’t feel comfortable speaking honestly 🚩 No opportunity to talk privately with current residents 🚩 Promises about procedures that don’t match the actual experience 🚩 Graduates who don’t feel prepared or confident to practice independently If you’re a dental student applying to GPR programs or researching dental residency programs, save this for interview season! If this helped, like, comment, and repost so another dental student can see it! 🦷 #DentistTok #GPR #DentalResidency #DentalSchool #dentalschool

What makes a GPR residency program a GOOD one? When researching General Practice Residency programs, look for: 🟢 Attendings who actually teach 🟢 Supportive co-residents 🟢 Strong mentorship 🟢 Good procedural variety 🟢 Graduates who feel confident practicing independently 🟢 Current residents who are available to talk on interview day 🟢 Transparency about both the program’s strengths AND areas for improvement If you’re a dental student applying to GPR programs or considering a dental residency, save this for interview season! If this was helpful, like, comment, and repost to help another dental student find it! 🦷💙 #DentistTok #GPR #DentalResidency #DentalSchool #dentalstudent

Choosing a GPR residency is about so much more than the name of the program or where it’s located. When you’re comparing General Practice Residency programs, you want to look at things like clinical experience, procedure volume, attending support, mentorship, call schedule, resident autonomy, patient population, and the overall residency culture. A program can look amazing on paper and still not be the right fit for you. The goal is to find a GPR that will give you the experience and training you actually want—and help you become the kind of dentist you want to be. If you’re applying to dental residency, save this video for when you’re researching programs! What was the most important factor you considered when choosing a residency program? 👇 #DentistTok #GPR #DentalResidency #DentalSchool #DentalStudent

One of the most common questions I hear from dental students is, “Should I do a GPR?” The truth is, a General Practice Residency isn’t the right path for everyone but it can be an incredible opportunity depending on your goals. If you’re trying to decide whether a GPR is worth it, or you’re comparing your options after dental school, I hope this helps! What made you decide to do (or not do) a residency? Let me know in the comments, and tell me what topics you’d like me to cover next in this Residency 101 series. #DentistTok #GPR #DentalResidency #DentalSchool #dentalstudent

Welcome to my Residency 101 series! 🦷 We’re kicking things off with one of the most common questions I get. What’s the difference between a GPR and AEGD? If you’ve been wondering which path might be right for you, this series is for you. And if there’s a residency topic you want me to cover, leave it in the comments! 👇 #DentistTok #GPR #AEGD #DentalEducation #DrTanaya
