Waiting to 'finish' content review before touching practice questions delays the feedback that tells you what's actually weak. We recommend starting QBank on completed topics within the first 1-2 weeks, running review and practice in parallel for the rest of prep.

Don’t let CARS scare you, here are some CARS study hacks every premed should know. 👇 ✏️ Stick to what’s in the passage. If it doesn’t say it, don’t assume it. ✏️ Choose the most direct answer. ✏️ Watch out for “always” and “never”. These can be traps. ✏️ Only eliminate an answer if you can prove it wrong. If it’s confusing, don’t just cross it off. ✏️ Aim for 3 - 4 minutes to read and understand each passage & about 1 minute per question. CARS is a lot more about reasoning and less about memorization. 📌 Save this for your next practice session!

Perfect scores in Chem/Phys, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc... then a 14-point drop in CARS. 😳 Riya (99th percentile MCAT tutor) explains why CARS trips up more students than any other section: it asks you to do the opposite of every science section. No outside knowledge. Just the passage, the author's argument, and your ability to keep your own opinions out of it. The fix? Practice, practice, practice under timed conditions until you think the way the MCAT wants you to. 📌Save this for your next CARS session! 💬 Comment “CARS” and we'll DM you the full YouTube video with more strategies! 🎥

CARS on the MCAT can feel impossible, but chunking for long passages can really help with retention and comprehension. ✨ Chunking is a cognitive strategy rooted in neuroscience and learning theory. The human brain handles complex information better when it’s grouped into manageable “chunks” instead of processed as one long stream. Think of it like breaking up a large puzzle into smaller sections to solve it piece by piece. For CARS, chunking improves: 👇 💥 Comprehension: You’re not overwhelmed by a wall of text 💥 Retention: Shorter chunks stick in your memory more effectively 💥 Focus: You stay mentally present instead of zoning out mid-passage 💥 Efficiency: Over time, you read faster and understand more. Try this and let us know how it works for you! 💙 #MCAT #MCATStudyTips #premedstudent #premedtips

Rereading and highlighting create a false sense of mastery because the material feels familiar? That's recognition, not recall. Active recall (closing the book and testing yourself) is harder and feels worse in the moment, but it's what actually builds retrieval strength for test day. Here are 3 ways to build active recall into daily review. #MCATprep #mcatstudytips #premedstudent #premed #mcat

"How many MCATfull-lengths should I actually take?" One of our most-asked questions, answered by Sifallah, an MCAT tutor! Spoiler: it's not about hitting a magic number, it's about when you take them. 🔹 Phase 1: One diagnostic FL before content review (yes, before you've studied. It's a map, not a grade) 🔹 Phase 2: 3-4 FLs mid-prep, spaced 1-2 weeks apart, to build pacing + stamina for the 7.5-hour marathon 🔹 Phase 3: 2-3 FLs in your final month to confirm you're test-day ready The real secret? Spacing + thorough review > cramming extra tests you never analyze. Watch the full breakdown! #MCATPrep #MCATStudying #PreMed #MCATTips

"I'm taking the MCAT in three days, what should I review?" Hear the advice from a current medical student who scored in the 98th percentile on the MCAT: 1. Review what you know 2. Practice writing down the formulas. Use your 10 minutes of prep before the actual MCAT to write down as many formulas as you can remember. 3. Relax the night before.
