Wild Orchard (@wildorchardtea)

Why is our matcha darker than others? 👀 Most bright green matchas are shaded using black plastic tarps to increase chlorophyll — giving them that vibrant green color. But here at Wild Orchard, we don’t shade our tea leaves this way. We’re concerned that synthetic tarps combined with heat might introduce microplastics into the plants themselves. So we do things differently — keeping it pure, clean, and simple. 🍃 We’re even exploring natural shading through larger trees and forest cover to see what the future of regenerative matcha could look like 🌳 Not better, just different — and always honest. 💚 #wildorchard #drinkwild #sustainablefarming #roc #regenerativeorganic #regenerativeagriculture #sustainableagriculture #matcha #matchalatte #blackmatcha #AYRmatchablack #matchalovers #tealovers #greentea #blacktea #premiumtea #quickbeverage #drinkblackmatcha

Not hojicha. Not your usual matcha. Hojicha is roasted green tea. Jeju Black Matcha is roasted black tea, ground fine. Think dark chocolate, coffee, and red wine in one cup. Swipe for the full breakdown. Link in bio to try it! 🤎 #drinkwild #blackmatcha #matchalovers #matchanyc #koreanmatcha

We kicked off our NYC Popup Series last Saturday at Patagonia Soho - and it felt like coming home. 🌿 Here’s something most people don’t know: Patagonia didn’t get into food by accident. Founder Yvon Chouinard believes the most important revolution of our time is happening in agriculture — and in 2017, Patagonia helped found the Regenerative Organic Certification® alongside Rodale Institute and Dr. Bronner’s. The ROC goes beyond organic, holding farms to the highest standard across soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness. In 2022, our farm on Jeju Island became the first tea farm in the world to earn that certification. That wasn’t a marketing milestone. It was the result of decades of work rebuilding soil, protecting our farming community, and growing tea the way it was always meant to be grown. So sharing space with Patagonia wasn’t just a popup. It was a meeting of missions. We poured our Black Matcha lattes in three milk formats — with our partners @origin_milk, @minorfigures, and @vitacoco — for a crowd that showed up in a big way. Lines out the door. Conversations that went deep. And we ran out of matcha two hours before we were supposed to close. We are so grateful. And we’re coming back with more. This is just stop one of our NYC Popup Series - more dates coming your way this season. And if you’re a retail store or brand HQ who wants us to come bring the story of regeneration and deliciousness to your space - our DMs are open. 💌 Where should we pop up next? Drop your thoughts below 👇🖤🍵 #fyp #popupnyc #nycevent #nycmatcha #matchacart
