These are Unseen Photos of the Twin Towers 🏙️ I collect old film slides, and recently discovered a family’s vacation photos from New York when They visited in 1973. The photos are amazing because they captured so many with the Twin Towers in the background. I scanned them and used After Effects to turn them into photo animations, bringing these important memories back to life, in honor of Sept 11th. #september11th #twintowers #newyorkcity #nyc #history

Some things don’t age well… like this story about Steve Hannagan! He was a publicist in the early 1900’s who targeted young high school girls for his big business of publishing bathing suit photos I absolutely love collecting and reading these old LIFE magazines they’re endlessly fascinating to me - discovering what was normalized in the 30’s is always shocking. #history #vfx #vintage

What’s inside a 90 year old magazine?! We are going to read the first ever issue of LIFE magazine from 1936 Btw I’m calling this series LIFE In The Margins ✨ #history #vfx #vintage #vintagefinds

The President says American museums are “too negative.” So I went back 90 years and animated myself into LIFE magazines from the 1930s to see what the country was publishing when nobody was worried about making history look bad. It’s important to note this was before television existed and so these photo journalistic magazines were Americans window into the world! The racism wasn’t hidden. The prejudice wasn’t subtle. It was printed, photographed, and sold as normal American life. History doesn’t need better PR. It needs to be told honestly!! #vfx #history #americanhistory

Here’s how to animate yourself into history!! First I used Adobe Stock to find REAL archival footage from the early 1900’s, then I use After Effects to blend myself into these old recordings. Using “Tint” You can match the black and white levels, “Gaussian blur” to match the softer focus, “posterize time” to adjust the frame rate to be lower, and lastly “noise” to match the grainier antique film!! Best part about all of this, because of the integrated Adobe Stock panel, I was able to makes this entire video without leaving Premiere! #adobepartner #adobestock @Adobe Creative Cloud

Here’s my Collection of Antique Cameras, the way they were meant to be seen… In the decade they came out!! 📽️ And because Adobe Stock has a massive collection of real archival footage, I was able to animate myself into the 1930s-1960s. As a history-loving creator, Having access to this type of old footage lets me get super creative with my ideas 💡 #adobepartner #adobestock @Adobe Creative Cloud

Ep. 1 of my new history series “LIFE In The Margins” where we look at America’s past, through the lens of the Media that was being published in the early 1900’s. #history #animation #vfx

EP. 1 OF AN EPIC HISTORY SERIES 🎬 I’m so freaking excited to start showing the world my massive collection of antique physical media. With over 100,000 slide photos & almost 1,000 Life magazines, I have an archive of interesting and nostalgic snapshots of American & world history I’ve always been a history buff, and a proud animator - and so this series is combining my two passions - to hopefully create something many people will love & learn a lot from!! This is a huge passion project for me, and I hope you stick around to watch me bring my history collection to LIFE #history #animation #motiongraphicsdesign #vfx #vintage #vintagephoto #slidephoto

Next Stop is Van Gogh Street ✨ Now that I live in the city, I wanted to blend my two worlds together: New York & Art History. When @Motion Array & I decided to work together I knew this was the perfect opportunity! From the glass textures on the windows, the the glows on the stars, and the beautiful music in the sound design - I was able to build my dream world with their incredible collection of of assets and make this beautiful idea I’ve had come to life 🖼️ #vangogh #vfx #motionarray

Elevate your photos and videos with seamless set extensions using the next generation of Adobe Firefly in @Photoshop (beta) app!! Bring your vision to reality with photos… AND VIDEOS?? For my film nerds out there, I exported frames of this clip into Firefly and used their cutting edge AI tools to generate flawlessly integrated set pieces, which I then exported as their own transparent layers, and then 3d tracked into the scene!! Allowing me to create my own 3d set extensions, which lets me turn my video into any environment I wanted, not to mention the new Image Model quality is better than ever! This tech is truly so exciting when you learn how to use it ✨ So go try this!!! I’d love to see what YOU can do with this new incredible update to Photoshop (beta) 💅🏻 #adobepartner #madewithphotoshop #photoshopai

I used @Photoshop Generative expand to try this insane spinning zoom out effect by @paolomarkthree !! You have to try this effect and check out Palo's tutorial on how to do it!! #photoshop #adobepartner #vfx #stitch

Create custom drone footage from any iPhone clip using @photoshop Generative Expand 🪄 Mount your phone on a tripod or a C-stand facing the ground, and export a frame of the video in photoshop – use Content-Aware Fill to get rid of the legs of the tripod. Then use the Crop tool to make the canvas as big as possible, and type in a prompt for the AI to reference - for the example in this video I kept typing in variations of “canyon” “forest” “canyon forest” Do this over and over. When you’re done with this process your canvas size is around 15,000 x 20,000 so change your canvas size back to HD or 4k and export your new background in chunks! Bring your new background into your editing software and blend it in with your original clip with a feathered mask. Finally, nest or precompose the 2 layers and use scale keyframes to ZOOM THE HECK OUT! You have to try this, it’s such a fun process -make your own dream world with @adobe@Adobe ‘s Generative Expand today!!! #adobepartner

I turned iphone clips into drone footage with @Adobe new ohotoshop expansion AI!! #adobepartner #vfx #editing

Make literslly set you want with this ai tool 😍😍 You can turn any shot into a completely customizable scene with Adobe’s new Generative Fill feature, and it’s insane. So I almost filmed this video at a park because I knew there would be an existing PRETTY background for Photoshop to reference and pull from. So when I was running low on time, and had to shoot in our small, empty, guest house - I was nervous that there wouldn’t be enough aesthetic information in the scene fo ther ai to generate anything cool It’s just a bare room, with unstained wooden walls!! But just from a single prompt of “nice living room windows” it made my small guest house into a 2 story building!! It was generating hallways into other rooms that didn’t exist! I had like 25 different fish tanks generated that I couldn’t decide on because they all worked so well. You can use the lasso tool and your keyboard to make an infinite amount of different set pieces ✨@Adobe #adobefirefly #adobepartner
