*** the ‘dna’ music video is an ode to where we come from. for this clip, we wanted to capture a side of Aussie culture that we all grew up around. skateparks, farms, motorbikes, trucks, dusty roads and country towns. the kind of places and people that shape you, whether you realise it or not. we travelled out to the rural parts of the Goldie for this one and met some incredible people along the way. there was something about being out in country Aus that felt really close to home, and we wanted to bring that feeling into the video. at its core, ‘dna’ is about those parts of yourself that you sometimes wish you could change. the things that make you feel different, or like there’s something wrong with you that you just can’t shake. but what if those parts are the very things that make you who you are? we hope this song makes you feel a little less alone in that feeling. and more than anything, we hope the world we’re building with Windwaker feels like a place where you don’t have to hide any of it. where you can just be yourself and know you belong. this one means a lot to us. thanks to everyone who helped in the making 🖤
