Done are the days of pushing your feelings down and stuffing your heart into a box just to fit into this world. If you feel this deeply about something or someone, screw the world for telling you you feelings are wrong. I say your feelings are valid, and I hope you can agree too :) Hii everyone my name is Jaymen and this year I decided to take all my notes, unsent letters and texts, poems, and thought essays from no contact and put it into a book. It really is a one of a kind book of a conversation between my present and past self. I look back on how difficult it was and do my best to send empathy and compassion back to that version of myself :) My goal with the book was to validate how it feels to let go sometimes (perhaps the hardest experience we have to face as humans). If you’re feeling stuck, unseen, lost, or otherwise hopeless, I hope this book can be the light in the dark for you :) #fyp #heartbreak

A quote that helped me through no contact was “muddy water is best cleared by leaving it alone” sometimes (well intentioned) we mess up the relationship more by choosing to speak or get our final words in, but perhaps part of the healing is to recognize that the silence too can be a healer.

maybe the story ends where we look, but the journey keeps going

maybe the real win is just loving, even if it feels like a loss

maybe the echoes are just reminders that we keep moving, even if the past still whispers

The story may end, but our journeys continue.
