Follow 👉🏾 @betterwallet 👈🏾 for more savvy investing techniques! — Compound interest is seriously a cheat code. The hardest part? Getting started! Notice how each $10,000 milestone gets easier and easier? That my friends is the power of compound interest! When your money’s money is making money! Compound interest is like a tree. At first, the tree is small… … then it grows branches … then the branches grow branches … then the branches branches, grow branches Next thing you know, the tree is massive!

Follow 👉🏾 @betterwallet 👈🏾 for more savvy investing techniques! — This my friends is what people call your FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) number. This concept was created by 3 professors at Trinity University and basically determined that assuming historical market returns, having a certain amount invested, and having a diversified portfolio (what I teach) you have a high likelihood of not running out of money during a 30 year retirement assuming a 4% withdrawal rate. Sure, it’s tough to reach this number but if this is something you want to do, you have to commit to the process. The biggest factor? How much you spend annually and how you invest the money. Note: The assumed rate is 8% in this calculation. The average rate of historical inflation is 2% Average historical returns of the market is 10%. If you adjust the rate of return by historical inflation, you’ll notice that it’s fairly close to 8%.

Comment: TRAINING to get the link to my free investing class where I break down how to invest A-Z. If you’re ready to stop kicking the can down the road, this is your calling! For the side hustle + expense cutting piece, you can divide it up any way you want. Maybe scale up to $1,000 by decreasing expenses by $300 and having a $700 a month side hustle or maybe a $400 side hustle and decrease your expenses by $600. Either way you dice it, your magic number is $1,000 per month. Note: using average historical growth of the market.

Comment: CLASS if you want to learn how to passively invest your money! I have a free training that can help you start even if you’re a complete beginner! — If you have a side hustle or small business that makes a profit, you can use it to legally boost your retirement savings and lower your tax bill at the same time. With a Solo 401(k), you’re both the employee and the employer meaning you can contribute in both roles and get tax breaks on both sides. This is a powerful way to turn business income into long-term wealth. You can even have a 401(k) through your 9–5 and one through your business - just keep in mind your employee-side contributions are capped across both plans (currently $23,500 total). But the employer-side contributions? That’s where your business can step in and help you build faster - because you can contribute up to 25% of your self-employment (SE) income to contribute. You’ll want to work with your accountant or tax pro to see how this fits into your situation but the bottom line is this: If you’re not using your business income to grow your net worth, you’re leaving money on the table. The tax code rewards owners. Use it to your advantage.

If you’re ready to start investing the right way so you can reach financial freedom, comment CLASS below. The goal isn’t to work nonstop just to buy luxury brands. It’s to create a life where you control your schedule and your income works for you. That’s what investing does. It turns your money into an employee that never takes a break. Nice things are fine, but time is the one thing you can’t get back. If you’re ONLY spending to upgrade your lifestyle but never using money to buy back your freedom, you’re building a trap instead of a life. Financial freedom means waking up when you want, working because you choose to, and being able to enjoy moments like sitting somewhere with an incredible view on a Thursday afternoon without stressing about your next paycheck.

Comment: CLASS to sign up for my free investing training where I break down my exact strategy to reach your first $100,000! The first $100,000 is undoubtedly the hardest but with compound interest, the following $100,000 thresholds ($200k, $300k, $400, etc.) become much easier. This is because when you are investing, your money is growing (earning interest). When your interest is earning interest, we call that compound interest. Basically this means that your money is growing exponentially. The beauty of compound interest and market growth is that you can let your money sit and it will continue to grow interest. Compare this to any other way of making money and you can clearly see why passive income is my favorite. My goal for you all is to get to your first $100,000 and I promise it will become easier over time. $100k is your fast track to millionaire status. In my class I break down the exact strategy without feeling overwhelmed or restricted. Note: using historical market growth rates.

😂 Not today Satan! Are you part of team Brag about it below! I drive a 11 year old Kia Sportage. Close to 120k miles. A few dents. 2 Atlanta break ins 😅. Still drives perfectly! Paying off my car and investing my car payment instead of getting a new car has helped me invest over $30,000. That’s not even counting the investment growth! 🤯🙌🏾 Note: This is obviously a joke. If you need to change your breaks, please do so. This isn’t the Flintstones. #NoCarNote?

  • If you want my favorite high yield savings accounts to use for your savings, comment: BUCKET… – video by @wvghega101 , 1.1K views, duration 0:07

If you want my favorite high yield savings accounts to use for your savings, comment: BUCKET below. Here’s the truth: an emergency fund is non-negotiable in this economy. Jobs aren’t as stable as they used to be, and if you’re laid off you don’t want to scramble… you want 3–6 months of expenses sitting in a high-yield savings account (HYSA). Why HYSA? Because unlike a regular bank account that pays you pennies, your emergency fund can actually earn you meaningful interest while it sits there waiting for when you need it most. Savings isn’t for getting rich - that’s what investing is for. Savings it’s for short-term protection. If you have one income in your household, this is even more critical. Lose your job and you don’t have a backup paycheck coming in. That’s when your emergency fund steps up. Now, I’m not delusional. These numbers can feel big. But don’t let that discourage you, just start. Put away as much as you can. Even a small cushion is better than being forced to rob from your future (aka raiding retirement accounts) when life throws you a curveball. Build that buffer. Your future self will thank you.

Want to learn how to invest strategically and put this plan to action? Comment: TRAINING below and I’ll send you my free beginners investing class! The first account people want to open up is a brokerage account but it should be one of the last. In fact the first account you should open up is a tax advantaged account like an IRA. Why? Taxes are the biggest expense you’ll ever pay in your life so if you’re not legally avoiding them for both your earned income (salary) and passive income (investing) you are giving more away to Uncle Sam than you probably need to.

You’re running out of time to sign up for my free beginners investing class tomorrow. Seats are almost filled up and once we reach capacity, the platform I use won’t let me add anyone else. To sign up, comment: CLASS and I will send you a private message with the registration link! — Here is my 9-month update for my 2025 investing goals. Please don’t look at these numbers and think, “I can’t do that” and then decide not to invest at all. I worked REALLY hard over the years to put myself in the position where I can invest the way I do today. When I first started, it looked nothing like this. Back when I was earning $50,000 a year, I was only investing $50 a month. That’s all I could realistically afford and honestly, it didn’t feel like much at the time. But that small, consistent habit was the seed. Over time, as my income grew, I kept increasing my contributions. That’s how it snowballed. Now my business gives me the ability to invest more than the average person. I used to feel guilty about sharing these numbers publicly because I didn’t want anyone to feel discouraged. But I’ve realized that owning my progress, and being transparent about it, helps people see what’s possible. So if you’re just starting out, don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Start with whatever you can: $25, $50, $100 a month. Consistency is the key. You’ll be surprised how much progress you can make in just a few years when you stay committed.

Who else feels like this? 😂 If you want to avoid debt and stay on budget, follow these simple steps to create your holiday sinking fund: 1️⃣ Set Your Goal: Determine how much you need for the holidays (gifts, travel, food, etc.). Let’s say $1,200. 2️⃣ Create a Timeline: How many paychecks are left before the holidays? If you have 6 paychecks left, aim to save $200 per paycheck. 3️⃣ Open a High-Yield Savings Account (HYSA)**: HYSA pays you more interest than a regular savings account, helping your money grow faster. Comment: HYSA for my favorite HYSA companies! 4️⃣ Automate It: Set up automatic transfers after each paycheck into your HYSA. Out of sight, out of mind, and it builds up quickly! 5️⃣ Track Your Progress: Check in every few weeks and make sure you’re on track to hit your goal. Using a high-yield savings account can help you reach your holiday goals faster.

Follow 👉🏾 @betterwallet 👈🏾 for more savvy investing techniques! Want to learn how to invest in this economy? Comment: CLASS and I’ll send you my free investing training! I’ll break it all down! I spent 6 years as a manager in Vanguard’s 529 department so when it comes to college savings strategies, I’ve seen everything. Here’s one you should be aware of: For years, families would have grandparents hold the 529 and wait until the student’s LAST year of college to use it. Why? Because distributions from grandparent-owned 529s used to count as student income and hurt federal aid eligibility. But last year, everything changed. Thanks to the new FAFSA rules, grandparent-owned 529 withdrawals no longer count as income for the student. That means they can now help pay for school without impacting financial aid eligibility. This is a game changer for families trying to bridge the gap. And just so you know, 529 accounts have a very small impact on FAFSA even when owned by a parent. Only 5.64% of the 529 account balance is counted in the aid formula. So if you have $20,000 saved, only $1,128 is considered “available” to pay for college. That’s it. If you’re on the edge of qualifying for aid, knowing how to position these assets could make all the difference and yes, it’s 100% legal. The tax code is the playbook. Learn it. Use it.

You can do it, but trust that it’s not easy. You have to be willing to sacrifice today so you can retire early in the future. Notice that the amount you need to accumulate is strictly based on how much you spend annually. The less you spend, the easier it is to retire early. Also, note, this is just an example. Your numbers may be different.

Comment: INSTANT below if you want the app I use to make easy cash during downtime. When I have free time, like on a flight or waiting between meetings, I pull up TopSurveys. You take short, interesting market research surveys and get paid for it. Then, I send that money directly to my HYSA. What I like most is that it’s low-effort and actually feels productive. I’m also learning about different industries while stacking extra cash. Some people play mindless video games during their down time, but because I’m hardwired to want to keep learning, I choose apps like TopSurveys instead. I even reached out to the team and grabbed exclusive discount codes for my audience. Comment INSTANT and I’ll DM it to you!
