#iceskatingprogress

starting late doesn’t mean you miss out. there’s SO much more to figure skating than just the Olympics 🫶⛸️✨

My one month progress of learning how to Ice Skate as an adult! ⛸️✨

trying to over-rotate my single toeloop for the first time 😵‍💫 not quite rotating enough for doubles yet but it’s a start 🤔

You can do this too, fulfill that childhood dream. I dont even recognize myself 7 months ago. Super proud how far I’ve come when i look back at the progress instead of focusing on what i cant do

More level 5

A timetable of my ever-changing progress in this sport since ive started 🫠🫠🫠

here’s how my juvenile moves in the field (bronze skating skills) are looking!! i’m hoping to test and pass these moves by the end of the year🙂‍↕️ one I get a little more speed and power I think I’ll finally be ready to test!

how my jumps are looking after *almost* 4 years of figure skating!! ❄️✨⛸️ disclaimer: this is four years of figure skating but NOT four years of jumping. I didn’t start learning jumps until around 1yr & 8 months into my journey. so really this is more like 2 years of progress from when i first…

When I skate, sometimes I feel I made zero progress (especially since I couldn’t skate for 3 months bc of an injury) but then I look back and see that I’ve made so much! Baby steps ❄️

Replying to @kaylee nicole WHY you should NEVER judge someone for their figure skating progress. you never know someone’s financial situation, how much they train, or what they’re going through outside of the rink.

Trying to learn new things as an adult is scary 🎀 but exciting! Going to track my progress and hopefully i can skate without holding the rails soon

Replying to @ktt_ee the harness is NOT restricted to only advanced skaters jumping doubles and triples. truth is, anyone can use the harness for any jump!!! beginners CAN use the harness for single jumps to help with technique, air position, and landing. the harness is a great learning tool and…

DAY ONE of 30 days to Biellmann ⛸️🌌🤞

Week 4 of my ice skating journey. This is my second day of practice. I’m working on improving what ive learned so far, and really just trying to get confident with everything. I’m also learning some new stuff with the coach, which is… uh, gonna need a lot of work 😅 What I seem to struggle with the…

“nobody’s heard from me for months, im doing better than i ever was”🥰 seriously though being able to skate instead of sitting in a classroom all day is SO worth it.

Replying to @Leorina lets talk about landings! you know youre supposed to land on your toepick… right?🙈 the landing should start on the toe pick then roll back to the rest of the blade on an outside edge. neverrr land on a flat blade!

Replying to @korcsolyazo2 my knees bend further than my toes, meaning im able to get a deep knee bend. i had no problems with knee bend even from day 1 in these💗 i had boots for doubles before this and they broke down in 9-10 months just doing singles in them. are u guys forgetting i have fully…

Replying to @icequeen a figure skater is anyone who dedicates time into figure skating. a beginner figure skater is still a figure skater, regardless of their level. ❤️

Trying out my crash shorts 😅
